Daisy Kent has revealed how strong her gut feeling really was that Joey Graziadei was going to pick Kelsey Anderson as his The Bachelor winner ahead of the Final Rose Ceremony in Tulum, Mexico.

Daisy admitted she was 100 percent confident that Kelsey had already won Joey's heart by the time the two women had their pre-Final Rose Ceremony chat in Kelsey's hotel suite in Tulum.

"I've never been more sure of something, honestly," Daisy told Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile on the April 2 episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast.

"And my reason for going to talk to Kelsey was from a friendship standpoint."

Daisy and Kelsey were shown talking about their final week in Tulum and how things had been going with Joey. Kelsey admitted Joey had given her a lot of reassurance and validation, which were things Daisy had been hoping to hear -- but didn't.

"I know they both really cared about me, and I wanted them to know that I was going to be okay and that I supported them and I want them to be happy," Daisy explained.

"Even though this was really hard for me, it was something I can be happy for them for."

Daisy, however, has received her fair share of criticism for spoiling The Bachelor ending for Kelsey, who walked into her Final Rose Ceremony with Joey prepared for a marriage proposal.

"I don't think everyone will always understand that, especially if you haven't been on this show and gone through the position. But you don't understand how much time you spend with the girls, especially towards the end," Daisy said.

"Me, [Rachel Nance] and Kelsey were extremely close towards the end, and I felt like we all just had a lot of respect for each other. Also, that conversation with me and Kelsey... there were a lot more parts to it."

Daisy recalled talking about their feelings and how they wanted the best for each other. Daisy even said she told Kelsey, "I know he's not my person. He's your person."

Daisy called the conversation "beautiful," adding, [Kelsey also] knew it was her. She knew it wasn't me. And she said, 'I've been worried about you all week, because I felt that it's going to be me.'"

Daisy said she and Kelsey will always share that special moment with each other and what's most important is that Joey and Kelsey know why she had done it and "what was behind it all."

Daisy noted, "That's what matters, even though some people will have different things to say about it. They know why, and they were really accepting of it and supportive of how everything went."

Daisy also shared the progression of her feelings and what led to her believing that she wasn't The One for Joey during the podcast.

Daisy said she realized she was "in love" with Joey in Jasper, Canada, and then she said she had a "perfect" hometown date.

"[But during] the Rose Ceremony [after Fantasy Suites], when I saw him and Kelsey, I could tell there was this energy between them, and I was like, 'Oh, I don't think it's me.' For a second, I remember thinking that," Daisy explained to Serena and Joe.

"I remember I broke down crying, and they both hugged me. I was like, 'It's going to be okay,'" Daisy recalled.

But once Daisy met Joey's family and it went "great," she said she "blocked out" her insecurities.

"After that, I was like, 'It went so good!' But I didn't really get to talk to him when meeting the family... It's basically just talking to the family," Daisy shared.

"And then going into our last date, I was just filled with anxiety, and it didn't feel like the excitement I always felt when I was going to see him. And everything just started to physically hurt. My whole body was like, 'This doesn't feel right.'"

When Daisy had her last date with Joey in Tulum, her intuition told her that The Bachelor star wasn't going to choose her.

"Maybe I had a spiritual awakening, I don't know," Daisy said with a laugh.

Daisy predicted, based on Joey's carefully-selected words and measured behavior, that he was going to dump her and propose marriage to Kelsey.

Joe mentioned how, from a viewer's perspective, it appeared Joey was softly breaking up with Daisy or at least preparing her for heartbreak.

"Yeah," Daisy agreed. "I think we were both feeling it [was over] and we both knew. But I think it was just processing and coming to terms with it for me."

Daisy acknowledged that she "definitely knew" she wasn't going to be Joey's final pick, especially because she had been "trying to force" things with The Bachelor star up to that point.

"I felt like we are a lot alike in ways, but I also just felt like something was always missing between us," Daisy recalled.

"And I think for a period of the show, I just kind of ignored it. And then when it got to the ending, I was like, 'Yeah, I'm right. There is something missing between us.'"

On The Bachelor's Season 28 finale, Daisy and Kelsey traveled together, in the same van, to the Final Rose Ceremony. Daisy met with Joey first and gracefully bowed out of the competition before Joey could officially dump her.

"Falling in love with you has been so fun and I do love you," Daisy told The Bachelor star. "But the thing is, you're not going to choose me."

Joey immediately broke down into tears, confirming that Daisy's gut instinct was correct.

Daisy told Joey that she realized he wasn't her "person," and she added, "I know that you know I'm not your person. And as much as that hurts, umm, I know you said you want what's best for me, and so I'm going to do what's best for me -- and I'm going to go."

Joey called Daisy "special" and offered to walk her out, but Daisy decided to do that on her own.

"I'm going to miss you," Joey cried.

"I'm going to miss you too," Daisy responded in tears. "I'm pulling for you!"

Daisy then returned to the van and hugged Kelsey, wishing her the best.

Joey proceeded to reunite with Kelsey and profess his love to her, and the pair got engaged in Tulum.

On The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, Daisy expressed how she's "not ready" to date again, inherently turning down a possible starring role on The Bachelorette's upcoming 21st season.

"My life the last year has been crazy. I mean, yesterday, it's weird, but it was the one year of me getting my cochlear implant, which completely changed my life," Daisy explained to The Bachelor franchise host Jesse Palmer.

"And I also went through this, and as great of an experience as it was, it was also really, really hard. I'm healthy and I'm happy, and I haven't had those two things in a really long time," she continued.

"And so, right now, I know it's a time for me to focus on the things I love and the people I love. So, right now, no. I'm not ready, and that's okay. I'm really proud of myself for realizing that."

The Bachelorette gig ultimately went to Jenn Tran, and her season will premiere this summer on ABC.
