According to Juliana, she and Grant had a big fight in their hotel room in California two days after they taped The Bachelor: After the Final Rose for Season 29 in March.
Juliana claimed there was "a lack of accountability" on Grant's part when it came to his tough breakup with his The Bachelor runner-up Litia Garr during a recent appearance on "The Ben & Ashley I: Almost Famous" podcast.
"I kind of came at him a little bit for it, and I was really frustrated," Juliana recalled to Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti.
"I was like, 'Now we have to carry that forward, and I would love for you to hold yourself a little bit higher [by] admitting where you went wrong and said wrong and [also] validating her feelings of feeling led on.'"
Juliana said Grant wasn't willing to do that and so they "were not on the same page" once the finale aired.
"That was just one piece of the puzzle," Juliana noted, adding how she and Grant had to "revisit weird things" and hard memories when doing post-show press.
She continued, "The Grant I met and did fall in love with during the show -- shortly after we got back from all of this, I was quick to find out it was a very different Grant in the outside world."
Juliana admitted, "I fell in love on the basis of who I thought he was and what was presented to me, and I still care for that person deeply, but in terms of it being a long-lasting relationship, I think I was struggling to get to that point once we were really getting to know each other."
Juliana said, for her part, she believes she stayed true to who she is the entire time.
"My walls went up really high really fast because I was like, 'Whoa, I don't know this person!' I was kind of shocked a little bit," Juliana confessed.

"I say this -- not in a mean way -- but I think he's a little aloof. He [doesn't have] a super clear direction, and that's okay. It's not a negative thing per se, but I think we had talked about things we wanted to do and places we wanted to go together and foundations we wanted to represent."

Juliana said she had a "pretty clear picture of the magic" she and Grant could make together post-show.
"We really resonated on the same things, and then coming out of it, it was like one day he wanted to make music, the next day he wasn't going to be an artist but he was still going to release it, and then he wanted to do a dating app," Juliana claimed.
"And then he wanted to have his marketing class. I was having a hard time following it, you know, and feeling including in it."
Juliana alleged that Grant wanted to prove a person can do it all and be in a relationship simultaneously.
"But I was like, 'Hi, you have to pay attention to me if you want me to be a part of this! You have to include me!'" she vented.
Juliana called Grant "scatterbrained" and added, "Maybe that's just who he is!"

The Boston native said she had to talk him "off the ledge" seemingly every three hours over negative comments online -- especially over how he hurt Litia after repeatedly expressing his love to her -- yet she didn't feel the same comfort and support in return.
"It was all about what people were going to think... and I was like, 'I don't care!'" Juliana vented.
Juliana recalled her brother "pushing" her "in all the right ways" to break up with Grant.
"I was so sad about everything. I was crying all day, every day for, like, two weeks, and I left to go to Florida to stay with my aunt. I was like, 'Help me!'" Juliana recalled with a laugh.
Juliana went on to reveal that before she and Grant publicly announced their split, they had already been broken up "for a few weeks."
"He had come to Aruba with me and my friends and my family, and that was the hardest week ever for him and for me. We were broken up," Juliana revealed.
When asked if she went to Aruba with Grant as friends, Juliana replied, "Yeah, he loved my family and my friends, and I didn't want him to feel isolated from that because him and I couldn't be together."
Ben was shocked about this news and called Juliana and Grant's dynamic "so unhealthy."
"I know," Juliana agreed.
"[But] the trip was booked and he ended up leaving early. He just couldn't do it, and that made sense and it was fair. But you have to understand [that] before we broke up -- and I broke up with him -- we were drifting, but naturally."
Juliana said Grant still talked to her parents, brother-in-law, and best friend's fiance, who also creates music.
"They were trying to get down to the studio in Florida. And I was like, 'Listen, bro, my people are your people.' I care about him and I'm not going to sit here and say he's a horrible guy... He doesn't mean anything bad; he's just aloof," Juliana explained.

Juliana said that Grant had been through a lot in life and so she didn't want him to "feel alone" after they parted ways.
"I knew the breakup was going to be hard on him," Juliana acknowledged.
She continued, "And I was down on myself. I felt like I did myself dirty. In my head, all I could think was, 'Juliana, you know better than this. You should've seen these red flags and picked up on these things.'"
Juliana insisted she and her family never "iced" Grant out, although he had claimed on social media that they didn't talk after their breakup.
Grant had also said he wasn't "heartbroken" by his breakup with Juliana once their relationship ended.
"Oh I am!" Juliana complained.
"That was the weirdest thing ever. I think he was trying to come off as this tough [guy] who doesn't care about your opinion or what you're saying... because he was butthurt that I broke up with him."
Juliana said Grant felt "so hot and cold all the time" and she always had a very "hard time understanding him."
"That's what I mean when I said 'aloof.' I just can't figure him out; I don't think anybody can," Juliana concluded.
Grant, for his part, confessed to Ben and Ashley on their "Almost Famous" podcast in November that he "spiraled" and "crashed" after his split from Juliana.
Grant insisted that he was, in fact, "hurt" when Juliana broke off their engagement.

"But yes, it's like a defense mechanism for me, just saying, 'Oh, I'm not heartbroken,' but really, you're hurt. That's what it was, for me. I don't have any regrets, but looking back, maybe I shouldn't have crashed out so hard post-show."
Before Juliana and Grant announced their breakup, the pair had laughed off rumors their relationship was on the rocks for months.
Grant had claimed he was going to move to Boston in Summer 2025, and fans thought their trip to Aruba was a romantic one.
Juliana and Grant got engaged in the Dominican Republic at the Final Rose Ceremony of The Bachelor's 29th season.
The Bachelor finale had shown Grant appearing to still be undecided between Juliana and Litia only minutes before the Final Rose Ceremony.
When Grant dumped Litia, she was blindsided and devastated.
Litia claimed on After the Final Rose in March that Grant had called her The One and confirmed they were getting engaged the night before the Final Rose Ceremony.
Litia proceeded to throw shade at Grant on social media once the show wrapped, and she even insinuated that Grant probably picked Juliana as his winner because she allegedly slept with him in the Fantasy Suite. (Juliana denied the allegation afterwards).
