The Amazing Race's new season will reportedly be comprised of Big Brother AND Survivor contestants when it starts filming in early June.
Previous reports claimed The Amazing Race's upcoming 31st season will feature an entire cast of former Big Brother houseguests, but multiple sources now say former Survivor castaways are also included in the teams, Us Weekly reported.
Although the Racers are reportedly still being finalized, some of the Big Brother veterans potentially competing next season are Dan Gheesling, the winner of Big Brother's tenth season and the runner-up of Season 14; Jessie Godderz from Seasons 10 and 11; Janelle Pierzina from Seasons 7 and 14; Britney Haynes from Season 12 and 14; and Frank Eudy from BB14 and BB18.
Caleb is also known for his stints on Survivor: Kaoh Rong in 2016 and Survivor: Game Changers last year.
The other Survivor castaway who may race around the world, according to Us, is Caleb's pal Tai Trang from Survivor: Kaoh Rong and Survivor: Game Changers. More former Survivor castaways are also reportedly likely to join the cast of Racers.
According to insiders close to production, CBS was reportedly hoping to land Big Brother-franchise winners Will Kirby and Derrick Levasseur, but both guys declined the opportunity.
One insider said Frankie Grande -- who appeared on Season 16 of Big Brother -- also turned down the offer to join The Amazing Race cast, Us reported.
There is still time, however, for the reality TV stars to change their minds and add themselves to the mix. Since CBS has yet to finalize the cast, some Racers could also reportedly be bumped or teams may be switched up.
In addition, the sources confirmed that out of all the names being tossed around for The Amazing Race next season, the people who are locked in are Britney, Janelle, Caleb, Tai, Corey and James.
In light of fans reportedly begging Dan to compete on The Amazing Race, his participation is still up in the air because he has supposedly had his fill of reality television.
