The Amazing Race eliminated Eswar Dhinakaran and Aparna Dhinakaran after the team finished the Race's ninth leg of Season 32 in last place during Wednesday night's one-hour episode on CBS.

The "Siblings" team arrived at the ninth Pit Stop in Cambodia and met The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan in fifth -- and last -- place after being the only team U-Turned at the Double U-Turn board, which resulted in their elimination.

"I think our parents would be really proud of us because we always did our best and we fought until the very end," Aparna said following her team's ouster.

"Pro Volleyball Players" Riley McKibbin and Maddison McKibbin were the first team to depart India at 3:25PM and fly more than 3,000 miles to Siem Reap, Cambodia, where almost 100 percent of the population practice Buddhism and strive for spiritual enlightenment.

The teams were instructed to find the Travelocity gnome upon landing at a marketplace where there were tuk tuks.

"Dating Couple" Will Jardell and James Wallington left the Pit Stop in India in second place at 3:42PM, and  "Former NFL Stars" DeAngelo Williams and Gary Barnidge headed to Cambodia in third place at 3:58.

"Married Parents" Chee Lee and Hung Nguyen took off in fourth place at 4:26PM, and then Eswar and Aparna began the leg in fifth place at 4:52PM.

Riley and Maddison expected there would be a Double U-Turn during this leg, and they said their goal was to U-Turn DeAngelo and Gary since the men hadn't been pulling their weight in their previous "Mine 5 alliance."

Will and James were on the same page about their target for the leg, and so were Hung and Chee, who had helped DeAngelo and Gary out multiple times throughout the Race with no reward or assistance in return.

It became clear the original alliance of five teams had become more of a trio.

As for Eswar and Aparna, they believed every team was racing for themselves, and they were certainly wrong.

Once the teams discovered their gnomes, they had to help a local driver assemble a tuk tuk vehicle and then ride it to a pier to receive their next clue.

Riley and Maddison arrived at the pier first and learned they must travel by boat to a nearby village and then find a floating Buddhist temple where they'd deliver a basket of everyday items to receive their next clue.

Will and James hopped on their boat in second place, with Hung and Chee closely on their heels. DeAngelo and Gary were in fourth place, with Eswar and Aparna not too far behind them

Riley and Maddison had an unfortunate mishap on their boat, however, when their form of transportation suddenly shut off and stalled. Will and James and Hung and Chee were therefore all able to pass the volleyball players.

Riley and Maddison were especially upset to learn Gary and DeAngelo might have a chance to jump ahead of them, but then the guys got their boat working -- and they were relieved and thrilled.

Once at the temple, Hung and Chee received their next clue in first place.

The clue instructed the teams to complete one of two possible Detour tasks: "Fish" or "Farm."

"Fish" required the teams to haul in a net that measured more than half a mile long and then gather at least 15 kilograms, or 30 pounds of fish, to receive their next clue.

"Farm" was a detailed task that required teams to mix soil and plant seeds to represent a Cambodian garden to receive their next clue.

Hung and Chee ended up farming, although they initially asked their boat driver to take them to "Fish" and were brought to the wrong location.

Will and James also chose to plant seeds, while all the other teams opted to fish.

Riley and Maddison completed the Detour in first place and encountered a Double U-Turn at their next clue box.

If a team is U-Turned, they must perform both sides of the Detour before trying to catch up with the other teams.

Phil revealed this U-Turn would "undoubtedly be a gamechanger" since there were no more non-elimination legs in the Race and only two legs left before reaching the Finish Line.

DeAngelo and Gary were hot on the volleyball players' heels, so Riley and Maddison discussed not U-Turning the football players in order to avoid Gary and DeAngelo U-Turning one of their ally teams.

However, Gary and DeAngelo found the U-Turn board first and chose to U-Turn Eswar and Aparna.

Riley and Maddison then chose to burn their U-Turn by using it on DeAngelo and Gary so no one else would get U-Turned.

Riley and Maddison's decision pretty much sealed Eswar and Aparna's fate in the Race since Eswar and Aparna were stuck being the only team to do both sides of the Detour.

The teams then learned they must head back to the pier, hop in a tuk tuk and travel to Khmer Floor Handicraft, where their next set of clues awaited them.

DeAngelo and Gary left the U-Turn board in first place, but Riley and Maddison lucked out with a faster driver, and so the volleyball players arrived at the Roadblock before any of the other teams.

Eswar and Aparna discovered they had been the only team U-Turned in third place, and Aparna vented about how DeAngelo, Gary, Riley and Maddison had "screwed" them over.

"This sucks," Aparna lamented. "I hate them right now... It shows that [Riley and Maddison] are athletes and have no brains."

"It's probably game over for us," Eswar added.

Hung and Chee arrived at the U-Turn board in fourth place, and Will and James headed to Khmer Floor Handicraft in last place.

But Eswar and Aparna technically fell into last place when they had to finish the other Detour before moving forward.

Once at Khmer Floor Handicraft, it became time for the Roadblock task, which required the teams to make a delicate and ornate ceramic tile by following the steps of a local artisan. Removing a tile from the mold apparently takes an immense amount of skill.

After subsequently solving a slide puzzle with their newly-created tile, the teams would earn their next set of clues.

The following Racers decided to take on the task: DeAngelo, Riley, Chee, and Will.

DeAngelo and Riley weren't patient enough to watch the full demonstration, so they struggled to remove tiles from the mold without shattering them.

After many failed attempts, Riley finally watched the demonstration and finished the Roadblock in first place, but DeAngelo repeatedly executed the wrong steps because he never paid attention to the local artisan.

Will took his time and watched the demonstration right away, propelling his team into second place.

The teams then raced to the Pit Stop at Angkor Thom, a walled city.

Riley and Maddison won the leg and received a trip for two to Norway for five nights.

Will and James then stepped on the Pit Stop mat and met Phil in second place.

Meanwhile, Hung and Chee finished the Roadblock task next, and then DeAngelo finally figured out his mistake.

Once Eswar and Aparna arrived at the Roadblock task, Eswar chose to make the tile and Aparna sat from a distance and shouted at DeAngelo to rattle and tease him. DeAngelo complained it wasn't good sportsmanship and The Amazing Race is ultimately a game.

Aparna told DeAngelo that he was experiencing "karma" and the football players should have U-Turned a more threatening team that had been more in the lead during this leg.

"I don't care," DeAngelo said, trying to quiet Aparna.

After Hung and Chee made it to the Pit Stop mat in third place, DeAngelo finally completed the Roadblock on his twelfth attempt, leaving Eswar and Aparna in last place.

But DeAngelo and Gary couldn't find a tuk tuk to bring them to the Pit Stop, and when they finally found one, they got stuck in heavy traffic at a construction site where a tree was being removed.

It was therefore a race to the finish line, and DeAngelo and Gary managed to secure fourth place. The guys said their finish was "way closer than [they] wanted it to be."

And finally, Eswar and Aparna arrived at the Pit Stop in last place and were eliminated from the Race.

"Brutal," Eswar said.

"Super brutal," Aparna repeated.

"I'm super proud of my sister. She's a lot stronger than I expected and I think we can accomplish a lot of things together," Eswar shared.

And Aparna noted in tears, "I'm actually happy that I got to spend all this time with my brother."
