The former nineteenth-season The Amazing Race champions raced to the altar and exchanged vows earlier this month, Life & Style reported.

"The ceremony took place in one of Chicago's most historically significant buildings, The Rookery," a source told the magazine. "They're so happy!"

Fellow former Racers Ron Zeitz, Bill Smith, Justin Young, Jennifer Young, Marie Canavan, and Liz Canavan were reportedly invited to the wedding as guests and participated in a post-cocktail reception in the early evening following the ceremony, which took place at the Chicago Cultural Center.

"Everyone really celebrated and danced the night away," the source said.

The bride wore a Jorge Perez de la Habana dress, while Halvorsen sported a traditional black tuxedo. The bridesmaids wore plum-color dresses accented in gold and the men wore socks featuring the Bavarian flag in honor of the groom, Life & Style reported.

"It was a vintage-travel theme, with wedding programs inspired by passports," the source explained. "Framed vintage travel posters [decorated the] trays for the hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail reception, and stacked vintage luggage was used for the gift boxes. It was really cool."

The couple, who were engaged during their run on The Amazing Race, also found a way to show off a little pride in their big million-dollar win.

"A small cake showcased Ernie and Cindy in their show t-shirts and backpacks," the source added. "It was great."
