Tayshia Adams apparently had a surprise visit from her fiance Zac Clark while on location filming The Bachelorette's seventeenth season.

Due to Chris Harrison's racism controversy and voluntarily leave of absence, the Season 16 The Bachelorette star and Kaitlyn Bristowe -- who starred on The Bachelorette's eleventh season -- have stepped in to co-host The Bachelorette's Spring 2021 season starring Katie Thurston.

Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone reported The Bachelorette began filming late last month at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico, and Tayshia just teased the "desert dust" on her Instagram account.

Tayshia, 30, posted a series of photos from her time with Zac in what appears to be New Mexico on Wednesday and captioned the cute slideshow, "Wanderlust and desert dust."

Tayshia and Zac apparently went out for a stroll in casual clothing and matching beanies. Tayshia sipped on an iced beverage in her pink sweatshirt and matching shorts while Zac jumped around in a black tank and grey shorts.

Tayshia also shared moments from her day with Zac on her Instagram Story.

"I'm very happy today because I got a surprise visit," Tayshia said.

Tayshia then zoomed the camera on the 37-year-old addiction specialist in the background, who flashed an awkward wave and appeared to be snacking on something.

"Why are you so weird?!" Tayshia said in the video with a laugh. "I love you."

Tayshia went on to film her "trail walk" with Zac "out in the middle of nowhere."

Tayshia joked, "Who will survive? Obviously me!"

As Zac ran off, Tayshia playfully shouted, "There's something wrong with him!... You good bro?! You good?"

"Why you always gotta call me bro?" Zac asked.

Like last year's The Bachelorette season which starred Tayshia and Clare Crawley, Katie's entire The Bachelorette season will reportedly be filmed at the resort and feature the cast and crew living on-site the entire time.

"I feel so honored to be given the opportunity," Tayshia said in a March 12 Instagram Story video about her new hosting gig, according to Us Weekly.

"I'm just so, so, so happy and I'm so happy that you guys are happy... It means so much."

Tayshia added at the time, "The fact that I talked to Chris the other day and he was so kind and congratulated me for being a part of the next season meant the absolute world. With that being said, y'all, let's freakin' go."

Tayshia just denied last month she and Zac had split after she was spotted without her engagement ring on.

"There's all these weird rumors circulating around that I'm not wearing my ring and that Zac and I are broken up. I don't know what is happening," Tayshia said on Instagram Stories.

She clarified, "I was in [Los Angeles] for a hot minute and was able to finally drop off my ring and get it sized... Everything is good on this forefront. Thank you so much for being concerned, but [Zac and I] are good."
Tayshia selected Zac over her runner-up Ben Smith in her final days of filming The Bachelorette last year, and the couple got engaged at the Final Rose Ceremony that aired on December 22, 2020.

Following their engagement, Tayshia and Zac told People late last year that they enjoyed the holidays together and then Tayshia decided to move to New York City to be with her man.

In a February 2021 interview with Marie Claire, Tayshia revealed the couple still resides in New York but the former The Bachelorette star decided to keep her own place in California "for peace of mind" since this is "not [her] first rodeo."

"We're dating right now while being engaged," Tayshia told the magazine.

But Tayshia said people "constantly" ask her if she and Zac are still together, with some fans begging the pair not to break up with each other.

"I'm not at all thinking about [ending the relationship]," Tayshia confirmed. "We do bicker and fight, but 99 percent of it is good."

As far as their marriage plans go, Tayshia admitted she and Zac go "back on forth" on how soon she should walk down the aisle.

"At first, Zac was the person to be like, 'We could get married next week.' And I was like, 'Slow your roll.' I'd love to date a year. And now I'm like, 'You want to [marry] maybe next month?' And he's like, 'Tayshia, slow your roll,'" Tayshia explained.

"We're back and forth. But there's no timeline. It's definitely going to happen. I just don't know when."

The social-media influencer and former phlebotomist even admitted she is "obsessed" with her fiance at this point.

"[It] is weird to say because I don't like to sound so cliche, but he's very much everything I need," Tayshia gushed. "I have an issue with trust. He's teaching me to get that back."

Tayshia and Kaitlyn replaced Chris as The Bachelorette host after Chris announced he'd be "stepping aside" from his hosting duties "for a period of time" to educate himself on a "profound" level after defending The Bachelor contestant Rachael Kirkconnell's racially-ignorant and insensitive actions in the last several years.

It's unclear whether Chris will return to the franchise to host The Bachelorette's eighteenth season starring Michelle Young later this year.
