"I don't know how to explain this," the Tia & Tamera and former Sister, Sister star told Hot 97's radio station on Thursday, according to Us Weekly. "I'm religious, so I waited until I was 29 to lose my virginity."

Not only did Mowry-Housley wait until she was 29, but she's also only slept with one person in her life, her husband Adam Housley.

Mowry-Housley reportedly explained she slipped and lost her virginity to Housley while they were dating -- a choice she quickly came to regret. She then decided to become a born-again virgin and wait until marriage to have sex a second time, which happened to be three years later.

"You may not understand this [but] I did it, then I felt guilty, then I became celibate until I got married," said the 35-year-old co-host of the new talk show The Real.

Mowry-Housley and Housley, a 41-year-old Fox News correspondent, wed in May 2011 in Napa Valley after dating for six years. The couple welcomed their first child into the world, a son named Aden John Tanner Housley, in November 2012.
