Survivor's 29th season, which is titled Survivor: San Juan del Sur -- Blood vs. Water, will premiere with a one-hour episode on Wednesday, September 24 at 8PM ET/PT. Last season, Survivor: Cagayan -- Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty premiered with a two-hour episode.

The Amazing Race's 25th edition will subsequently debut with a one-hour episode in its new time period on Friday, September 26 at 8PM ET/PT.

The network had previously announced The Amazing Race will be moving from Sunday to Friday nights. The show's old Sunday night timeslot will be replaced by a new drama called Madam Secretary.

Friday night will suddenly be a very popular night for reality TV this fall, as in addition to The Amazing Race, America's Next Top Model, MasterChef Junior and Shark Tank will all be returning with new seasons on the night. Fox will also be airing its new Utopia series at 9PM ET/PT on Fridays this fall.

The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan and Survivor host Jeff Probst will both return for the new seasons.

Season 25 of The Amazing Race began filming in Times Square in New York City earlier this month and will feature 11 new teams competing in a race around the world for $1 million.

Survivor: San Juan del Sur -- Blood vs. Water will feature all new castaways, and Redemption Island will be dropped in exchange for a new twist which has yet to be revealed.

CBS did not disclose any additional details on either of the series' upcoming seasons.
