So You Think You Can Dance eliminated Ricky Jaime and Caitlynn Lawson and determined the Top 4 contestants who will compete in next week's eighth-season finale during Thursday night's live results show on Fox.

Ricky and Caitlynn were eliminated after they were the male and female finalists respectively who received the fewest home viewer votes following Wednesday night's performance show, which featured the Top 6 contestants each performing with their all-star partners, dancing their own solos and performing a routine with a fellow So You Think You Can Dance finalist.

"This whole experience has been a dream come true and amazing. It doesn't get any better than this for a dancer," Caitlynn, an 18-year-old contemporary dancer from Moses Lake, WA, said in a video after her elimination was announced.

"I really, really am grateful for this opportunity and experience. I love this show! It's just a huge accomplishment, and I feel crazy proud of myself," Ricky, a 19-year-old contemporary dancer from Miami, FL who currently resides in Tampa, FL, said in his own video.

Tadd Gadduang, a 25-year-old hip-hop dancer from Salt Lake City, UT, and Sasha Mallory, a 23-year-old contemporary dancer from Bakersfield, CA, were the other two finalists still in danger of elimination prior to Ricky and Caitlynn's ouster. However, So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley noted they were not necessarily the next-lowest vote-getters from Wednesday night's performance show.

According to Deeley, So You Think You Can Dance's seventh-season winner Lauren Froderman, seventh-season contestant Robert Roldan, fourth-season contestant Mark Kanemura, and fourth-season winner Joshua Allen will return to the show and serve as all-star partners for the Top 4 finalists next week.

In addition, So You Think You Can Dance announced actress Katie Holmes will serve as a guest judge.

So You Think You Can Dance's eighth-season finale performance show will air on Wednesday, August 10 at 8PM ET/PT and feature the four remaining finalists -- Sasha; Tadd; Marko Germar, a 22-year-old jazz dancer from Dededo, Guam who currently resides in Canoga Park, CA; and Melanie Moore, a 19-year-old contemporary dancer from Marietta, GA who currently resides in New York, NY -- competing for home viewer votes to be named America's top dancer.

So You Think You Can Dance's final one-hour eighth-season live results show will then air on Thursday at 8PM ET/PT and feature the crowning of the season's champion.
