'So You Think You Can Dance' cuts four dancers, determines Top 10 finalists and Season 11 all-star pairings

So You Think You Can Dance eliminated a whopping four finalists and determined the eleventh season's Top 10 contestants during Wednesday night's live performance show on Fox.
Serge Onik, a 26-year-old Latin Ballroom dancer from Upper Saddle River, NJ; Carly Blaney, a 20-year-old Contemporary dancer from Wyckoff, NJ; Emily James, a 21-year-old Contemporary dancer from North Kingstown, RI; and Teddy Coffey, a 19-year-old Hip Hop dancer from Rochester, NY, were eliminated by the So You Think You Can Dance judges.
Regular judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy as well as guest judge Christina Applegate sent Serge, Carly, Emily, and Teddy home after they found themselves in the week's bottom-six dancers based on home viewer votes cast immediately following last week's show.
America's vote from last week determined the bottom three guys and the bottom three girls after the Top 14 finalists had performed in pairs to a dance style selected at random. All the contestants performed again on Wednesday night with the hope of impressing the judges -- who held each bottom-six dancer's fate in their hands -- before the elimination results were revealed.
The other two bottom-six vote-getting dancers were Casey Askew, a 19-year-old Contemporary dancer from Seattle, WA, and Jessica Richens, an 18-year-old Jazz dancer from Yorba Linda, CA.
Wednesday night's show featured Emily and Teddy performing a Broadway routine, Carly and Serge taking the stage with a quickstep routine, and Jessica and Casey stunning the audience with a contemporary routine.
Following the night's performances, the judges were required to eliminate four individuals -- two males and two females -- and they opted to save Jessica and Casey out of the half a dozen dancers.
So You Think You Can Dance's sixth eleventh-season performance show will feature the 10 remaining finalists dancing again for home viewer votes, but this time, each contestant will be taking the stage with a show all-star.
