America's Got Talent revealed its first five ninth-season semifinalist acts during Wednesday night's live broadcast of the NBC reality competition series.

Emily West, a singer and songwriter from New York City; Dan Naturman, a stand-up comedian from Stamford, CT; Miguel Dakota, a 21-year-old singer and guitarist from Monument, CO; and David & Leeman, a magic duo from Los Angeles, CA, were revealed to have finished as the Top 4 vote-getters after Tuesday night's performance show, automatically earning them a spot in America's Got Talent's ninth-season semifinals.

Tuesday night's episode had featured the season's first group of 12 quarterfinalist acts performing for home viewer votes.

America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon also revealed that Valo & Bobby, The Willis Clan, Sean & Luke, JD Anderson, Julia Goodwin, and Jasmine Flowers had received the six lowest home viewer vote totals.

The announcements then left America's Got Talent judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Melanie "Mel B" Brown, and Howard Stern with the task of deciding which of the two acts that had received the fifth and sixth highest vote totals -- Baila Conmigo, a dance company from West New York, NJ, and Flight Crew Jump Rope, a professional jump rope team from Boise, ID -- should become the fifth act to advance to the semifinals.

Mel B voted for Flight Crew Jump Rope to advance, however, the three other judges voted for Baila Conmigo to take the open spot.

In addition, America had voted to see the group Cornell Bhangra perform again onstage for the AGT judges via the Today show's "Today's Got Talent" contest.

Next week's Tuesday night broadcast will feature another round of 12 quarterfinalist acts showing off their skills. The acts who will be performing are Jaycob Curlee; Aerial Animation; Livy, Matt and Sammy; Mat Franco; John & Andrew; Loop Rawlins; Andrey Moraru; Darik Santos; Acte II; Juan Carlos; Hart Dance Team and Mara Justine.
