Despite winning the fourth-season of So You Think You Can Dance, Joshua Allen apparently has his eyes set on another career: singing.

"Overall, I want to be a recording artist," Allen, a 19-year-old Fort Worth, TX native, told the Fresno Bee in an interview published on Friday. "I want to be singer."

"I still want to push my dancing career," he continued. "And I believe if you want to be a good dancer, you have to be well-rounded. You really have to know your stuff. At an audition, they might want a hip-hop dancer who can do pirouettes."

Allen won So You Think You Can Dance's fourth season by beating out Twitch Boss, Courtney Galiano, and Katee Shean on the show's August 8 finale. As his prize, he received a $250,000 cash prize and a "featured dancing role" in the new Step Up 3D.

He is currently participating in So You Think You Can Dance's national tour.
