The premiere dates for Shark Tank and its spinoff Beyond The Tank have been released.
ABC has announced Shark Tank's seventh season will debut Friday, September 25 with a one-hour episode at 9PM ET/PT.
In addition, Beyond The Tank will be returning to the network with its second season beginning on Tuesday, September 29 at 10PM ET/PT. Beyond The Tank will continue airing in this same timeslot until October 27 when Wicked City takes over, which is a new scripted drama series about solving murder cases.
Shark Tank, a business-themed reality series in which self-made tycoons search for people and great new products to invest in, is the No. 1 television series on Friday in the category of adults from the ages of 18 to 49.
The show will continue to star billionaire Mark Cuban, the owner and chairman of AXS TV and owner of the Dallas Mavericks; real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran; the "Queen of QVC" Lori Greiner; technology innovator and twentieth-season Dancing with the Stars contestant Robert Herjavec; fashion and branding expert Daymond John; and venture capitalist Kevin O'Leary.
The second season of Beyond The Tank will continue to chronicle the Sharks working with the business men and women whom they had inked deals with on Shark Tank through their highs and lows. The series documents how the Sharks roll up their sleeves in guiding and developing their entrepreneurs as they make tough business decisions to achieve success, growth and profits.
"Audiences will realize the challenges and spirited negotiations are never over. What lies in the aftermath of their investment? Did a promising deal turn sour, or did it lead to millions of dollars in sales?" according to the network.
Both shows are produced by United Artists Media Group in association with Sony Pictures Television and executive produced by Mark Burnett, Clay Newbill and Phil Gurin. About The Author:Elizabeth Kwiatkowski
