The Dancing with the Stars atmosphere is apparently much better now that Kate Gosselin is gone.

"Everyone couldn't be more relieved. We all had to walk on eggshells around [Kate]. At least we don't have to worry about where our eyes can or can't drift off to now," a source who works on the ABC reality series told E! News in a Friday report.

"Kate just thought that everyone was out to get her. That's why she had all of those crazy rules, like how she was to be approached."

Even before Dancing with the Stars' tenth season premiered, reports surfaced that Gosselin was acting like a "total diva" on the set.

While Gosselin denied the report, Dancing with the Stars' professional Mark Ballas subsequently described her as "standoffish" during their first meeting.

Earlier this week, the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star and her professional partner Tony Dovolani became the fourth couple eliminated from Dancing with the Stars' tenth season. She subsequently explained she "had a lot of fun" on the show.

"[The staff] felt bad for the bad press she got, but sometimes it was deserved!" the source told E! News. "She was not an easy person to work with."
