Top Chef has filmed everywhere from the City by the Bay and City of Angels to the Windy City and Magic City -- and now the Bravo reality series is apparently preparing to take a bite out of the Big Apple.

Top Chef's fifth season will shoot in Williamsburg, a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, "inside sources" recently told eater.com.

While Top Chef's Bravo representatives declined comment when questioned by The New York Post for a Thursday report, the reps did not deny the online reports that Williamsburg would serve as the setting for the show's next installment.

If Top Chef's fifth season does film in Brooklyn, it would represent the fifth different location for the culinary competition series.

Top Chef's first season filmed in San Francisco while its second installment moved slightly south and shot in Los Angeles.  However the show's third season last summer filmed in Miami and its recently concluded fourth installment was set in Chicago.

Williamsburg -- which borders Greenpoint, Bed-Stuy and Bushwick -- is currently considered a hub for hipsters, including various artists and musicians.  Earlier this year, MTV also announced Brooklyn would serve as the setting for The Real World's twenty-first season.

Bravo renewed Top Chef for a fifth season in April and casting commenced shortly thereafter.
