Rachel Lindsay wasn't exactly a fan of The Bachelor before appearing on Nick Viall's season.

"Obviously I knew about the show and I was aware of it. I've attended watch parties because every single job I've been a part of has had watch parties," the 31-year-old Dallas attorney told People.

The next The Bachelorette star admitted, "I never understood what was going on."

Lindsay therefore never actually applied to compete on Season 21 of The Bachelor, which will feature Viall visiting her hometown in the upcoming February 20 episode.

"My coworkers actually signed me up for The Bachelor and were like, 'You've got to go to this casting call.' So once that process happened, I started to tune in more," Lindsay revealed.

So what is Lindsay looking for in a man when she films The Bachelorette's thirteenth season?

"Physically, I really don't have a type," Lindsay said. "I'm very open, which I think will be really exciting when the guys come out the limo because I don't know what I'm going to get!"

In fact, the African-American beauty insisted she's "really not picky," although she's a "sucker for a great smile."

"That's probably my favorite physical attribute," Lindsay told People. "I just want a guy with good morals, who's funny. I'm corny, it's easy to make me laugh. I like a guy who can hold a good conversation. I want him to be intelligent and ambitious."

As for hobbies go, Lindsay also wants a future husband who enjoys watching sports, or at least has some knowledge about her favorite teams.

"They have to like sports! They don't have to play them, but they have to be able to talk about them," she noted, adding that she needs a partner ready for marriage and children.
