Project Runway judge Nina Garcia gave birth over the weekend to what should be a well-dressed baby, as she and her husband David Conrod reportedly welcomed their first child together, Lucas Alexander Conrod.

The seven pound, six ounce boy was born at 6:03AM on Saturday morning, People reported Monday on its website.

"[Garcia and Conrod] are very excited to finally meet their new son," Garcia's representative told People. "They are all doing great."

The 41-year-old Garcia, who has been the fashion director for ELLE magazine since 2000, confirmed to People in October that she and Conrod, a senior managing director at Guggenheim Capital, were expecting.

"This baby must have some amazing fashion sense, waiting until empire waists and volume came back into fashion," Garcia told People in October.

Garcia has served as a judge on Bravo's Project Runway reality competition series since it premiered in December 2004.  It's about time somebody from Project Runway other than host Heidi Klum has a baby, as the former supermodel has already given birth to two children since the series' premiered.

"I am convinced there is something in the Project Runway water!" Garcia told People in October. "Heidi knows and is very excited for me. We will have lots to talk about next year."
