"In front of the world, I love you," the rapper told Cardi B after three boxes spelling out, "Take Me Back Cardi" were brought on stage, People.com reported.

The former "Love & Hip Hop: New York" star's response was not captured by her microphone, but Offset left the stage after they had a brief discussion.

UsMagazine.com said Cardi B posted an Instagram video after some of her supporters criticized Offset, the father of her infant daughter Kulture, for his actions.

"Violating my baby father isn't going to make me feel any better, because at the end of the day, that's still family," she said.

"Unfortunately, we going through things and, um, it's not private, it became public ... and I just want things to die down, I just need time so we can see eye-to-eye. I can't predict the future, I don't know. I don't need people coming at my baby father and [expletive] that doesn't make me feel any better. And I just want to say thank you, everybody. Respect my wishes."

Cardi B announced earlier this month that she had split from Offset, her husband of more than 14 months.
