NBC has announced Breakthrough with Tony Robbins, a new reality series starring the self-help writer and speaker, will premiere Tuesday, July 27 at 8PM ET/PT.

Each episode of Breakthrough with Tony Robbins will follow Robbins and his team of experts as they help participants and their families overcome complex challenges and personal obstacles by providing them the tools to turn their lives around.

Robbins will also use a series of tough challenges to help the participants and their families attain change and reach their personal goals.

NBC began developing Breakthrough with Tony Robbins in November 2008 and ordered the series the following February.

Breakthrough with Tony Robbins is being produced by Reveille with Robbins, Howard T. Owens, Mark Koops, Shauna Minoprio and Tom Forman serving as executive producers.
