Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara are leaving the series after serving on the show since Season 2, E! News reported.

Original MythBusters and presenters Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman reportedly announced on Thursday's episode that the three cast members will no longer appear on MythBusters, which airs on the Discovery Channel.

"I guess you guys are finding out the news right about now. After a decade of the MythBusters, we are no longer with the show," Byron tweeted.

"Thank you to all the fans who have supported us. The show is taking a new direction. It was an amazing run. I learned so much about myself and the world. I love you all @MythBusters. I am sad for an ending but there will be exciting new adventures for us."

"Thanks @MythBusters for allowing us to teach science in a whole new way," Imahara added. "Also, explosions. Now, on to the next adventure!"

Byron, Belleci and Imahara were members of Savage and Hyneman's team who generally tested myths separately from the main duo.

Savage shared a photo of the crew on Twitter, thanking his co-hosts.

"@KariByron, @grantimahara & @ToryBelleci, it's been a pleasure to not only work with you but call you our friends," he tweeted.

Likewise, the MythBusters show thanked the trio on Thursday "for their tireless work" and wished them "all the best."

Savage and Hyneman will return to the series as the sole hosts when MythBusters returns with all-new episodes.
