Disney is teasing the live-action remake of the 2016 animated feature Moana.

An approximately one-minute clip released Monday shows Moana, portrayed by Catherine Laga'aia, as she walks across a mountaintop.

"I am a girl who loves my island," she sings, in a nod to the song "I am Moana."

The preview ends with Moana singing on a boat.

The live-action film, like the animated version, follows Moana as she "answers the Ocean's call and, for the first time, voyages beyond the reef of her island of Motunui with the infamous demigod Maui (Dwayne Johnson) on an unforgettable journey to restore prosperity to her people."

Johnson, who lent his voice to the character in the film, confirmed he would reprise the role in 2023.

"This story is my culture, and this story is emblematic of our people's grace, mana and warrior strength. I wear our culture proudly on my skin and in my soul, and this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reunite with Maui, inspired by the spirit of my late grandfather, High Chief Peter Maivia, is one that runs very deep for me," he said at the time.

The film is slated to land in theaters July 10.
