Married at First Sight star Zach Justice insists Mindy Shiben's divorce party didn't upset him and, on the contrary, he approved of it!

During the April 1 broadcast of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered on Lifetime, Zach watched back a Season 10 clip of Mindy partying with her friends after choosing to end their marriage.

Mindy gushed in the clip how she had found an inner strength she never knew existed through her tumultuous relationship with Zach, and the divorce party included hitting a donkey pinata, popping champagne and celebrating how Zach was "history."

"Was [watching] that [episode] the first time you saw your soon-to-be ex-wife had a divorce party?" Unfiltered host Jamie Otis asked Zach.

"Yeah," Zach replied with a big smile. "Yeah, I had no idea. Good for her."

When asked how he felt watching Mindy rejoice over being single again, Zach said, "I mean, Mindy and I had our situation. We had our talk towards [the end], so for her to throw a party, [it] doesn't bother me."

"It doesn't bother you at all?" Jamie asked in disbelief.

"No," Zach confirmed.

"That to me is the biggest indicator that you were just never really into her," Jamie observed. "Not even a little bit -- no feelings."

"No, I wouldn't say that," Zach countered. "Because I didn't get upset that she threw a party?"

"Yeah!" Jamie responded enthusiastically. "If my husband had a divorce party, you know, I would be like, 'That stings a little.'"

Jamie is still happily married to Doug Hehner, whom she wed on Season 1 of Married at First Sight. The couple is currently expecting their second child together.

Married at First Sight expert Dr. Viviana Coles also appeared on the Unfiltered broadcast and offered another perspective on Mindy's party.

"But it's different because the divorce party, it's not that she's celebrating 'Woohoo! I got a divorce,' it's more about, 'Let's close this chapter and let's go into it with a positive spin,'" Viviana explained.

"Gotcha," Jamie noted.

Jamie then asked Zach if it would've upset him had Mindy put a picture of Zach's face on the pinata donkey.

"So at that point, I would reacted to this whole party and have said, 'Because my face is on the donkey, this is awful and this is unacceptable,'" Zach said with sarcasm.

Zach's Married at First Sight co-star Jessica Studer pointed out on Unfiltered she was "really glad to see [Mindy] happy."

"She looked like she's going to be okay," acknowledged Jessica, who became really close friends with Mindy through the Married at First Sight experiment.

"Yeah, I think so," Jamie said.

Viviana concluded, "I mean, the whole thing is disappointing. We had such high hopes, but when someone can have a good attitude or learn something about themselves, that's as good as it gets for this sort of situation."

Viviana had matched Mindy and Zach to tie the knot on Married at First Sight 10 along with the show's other experts, Pastor Calvin Roberson and Dr. Pepper Schwartz.

"I'm proud to see she has gathered her support system -- they were there for the wedding and they were there for the divorce party -- it's a full-circle moment," Viviana said of Mindy's pals who attended the divorce bash.

Zach and Mindy's relationship was caught in a downward spiral ever since their honeymoon in Panama when Zach admitted to his wife on several occasions he wasn't attracted to her and they lacked intangible chemistry.

Mindy never gave up on her marriage despite her bruised ego, but Zach threw his walls up and kept his distance from his wife. He even refused to move in with Mindy in an apartment Married at First Sight had provided for them in Washington, D.C.

After catching Zach in lies and growing tired of being the only one to put effort into their relationship, Mindy decided to end her marriage to Zach once and for all.

"I told myself I was only going to let myself be disappointed like that one more time and that's it, so I can't subject myself to that. I'm sorry to say but I don't want to be in this marriage anymore," Mindy told Zach in a recent episode.

"I don't know what to say. I feel like I have a lot to say but I don't know what to say," Zach replied.

"I feel with the lack of transparency, it put you in a position where you had to make this decision, but I don't think I expected it."

Mindy said she wanted to make her marriage work so badly that she would have been willing to do pretty much anything.

"But what I've learned is no matter how much I wanted it, a marriage is not about one person and my husband did not show up to be any kind of decent partner," Mindy griped.

Zach and Mindy were not even featured in the latest episode of Married at First Sight that aired last week given their marriage was already over and the other spouses attended a couples' retreat.

Mindy called it quits on her relationship with Zach nearly two weeks before "Decision Day."

Married at First Sight, which currently airs on Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT, also stars Jessica's husband Austin Hurd, Katie Conrad and Derek Sherman, Meka Jones and Michael Watson, and Taylor Dunklin and Brandon Reid.
