Married at First Sight star Mark Maher has revealed his first impression of Lindsey Georgoulis and how she wasn't exactly what he had envisioned for his wife.

Mark, 37, and Lindsey, 34, were matched to marry on Season 14 of Married at First Sight by the show's experts Pastor Calvin Roberson, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and Dr. Viviana Coles.

"My instant impression was, 'Okay, she's cute, she has nice teeth.' That was my biggest thing, like, they've got to all be there and she's got to have nice teeth!" Mark said on last week's episode of Married at First Sight: Afterparty.

Mark admitted of Lindsey, "[She was] not my type right out the gate, but [I thought], 'Let's just see how it goes conversation-wise and let's see how this rolls out.'"

Mark acknowledged Lindsey is not the typical woman he's dated in the past.

"Most people I dated are not as outgoing as she is," Mark told Afterparty host Keshia Knight Pulliam. "Most people are a little bit more quieter or medium-toned."

"I mean, Lindsey was pretty excited," he recalled. "And -- a lot of excitement."

But Lindsey pulled her conversation with Mark into a serious direction about their mothers not being in attendance while taking wedding photos.

And then the couple chatted during their first wedding dance about how they both dislike country music and love cats.

But Lindsey mentioned how they had to talk about their "five-cats situation" since that's "a lot of pussies in one house."

"That's Lindsey!" Mark noted of his wife's sense of humor, before taking a sip of wine.

Mark, however, seemed to appreciate how Lindsey is "not shy -- at all" and she therefore "kept it interesting."

"I never knew what she was going to say next!" Mark noted.

When asked if he could see his marriage lasting beyond eight weeks after meeting Lindsey, Mark confessed, "It's a little too early to tell."

"Yeah, it was a little bit of a lot for one day," Mark admitted.

However, Mark said he and Lindsey found out they had a lot in common, which was a striking revelation for him.

Mark said on last week's Season 14 episode of Married at First Sight that Lindsey likes to have fun "like the sun shining in the sky."

"But I like her," Mark told the cameras. "She's someone I think can keep up with me, someone that will get me outside of my normal routine -- and I'll probably live more of my life because of her."

Mark explained how he's dated very outgoing women in the past but never saw a softer or loving side of them, and so he was optimistic this situation with Lindsey would be different.

Lindsey previously confessed on Afterparty that Mark isn't her type and kissing him was like kissing her grandma, but once she got to know him a little better, she viewed him as a "very genuine and kind" man.

Married at First Sight, which currently airs Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime, also stars Jasmina and Michael, Katina and Olajuwon, Noi and Steve, and Alyssa and Chris.

Alyssa and Chris' wedding has yet to air on the series.
