Married at First Sight star Lindy Elloway has revealed that she thinks she was to blame for her heated photo argument with husband Miguel Santiago.

Lindy, a 29-year-old doctor of physical therapy, and Miguel, a 35-year-old associate medical director, were matched by Married at First Sight experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Pastor Calvin Roberson to wed on the Lifetime reality series' fifteenth season.

Lindy and Miguel's relationship appeared to be the strongest of all the five couples with a week left until Decision Day, but all communication broke down between the lovebirds during the couples' retreat.

During the October 6 episode of Married at First Sight: Afterparty, Lindy watched back a Season 15 clip of a fight she had with Miguel during the retreat in Santa Barbara, CA, when Lindy wanted to take a great photo ahead of their special prom night.

"Babe, come on, not a selfie!" Lindy complains to Miguel from inside their hotel room. "I want the good quality ones."

"Alright," Miguel quietly replies.

"Thank you," Lindy says.

"But I don't appreciate that tone, I'll tell you that," Miguel gripes. "Try to do a better job of reading the room, like, don't expect me to be your personal photographer."

Afterparty host Keshia Knight Pulliam asked Lindy how she felt watching that footage back, and Lindy admitted, "That was definitely a tough moment."

"But, like, Miguel did ask for space, and I was not reading the room," Lindy said, seemingly accepting fault for Miguel's behavior.

"He was like, 'Hey, I'm trying to decompress." But we have to go downstairs and socialize with everyone. We have to go downstairs and there's cameras everywhere. It's so much pressure."

Lindy recalled how she and Miguel had also just completed their "Migindy" baby challenge, which tested the couple's parenting skills and kept them awake with crying noises for nights on end.

"So we didn't sleep and he works a really intense job," Lindy explained. "He was working 40-plus hours, and I should've known better to respect that moment of him decompressing."

Lindy said she "typically" stands her ground more with Miguel, but in this moment, she chose to back off.

"I am definitely not someone who is walked over, by any means, in a relationship," Lindy insisted. "Throughout the season, I'm the wreck and I'm the one who needed to be talked off the ledge."

Lindy explained that this was "the one time" she could've "showed up" for Miguel, to put things "into context" for viewers watching at home.

Lindy's Married at First Sight co-star Alexis also appeared on Afterparty and shared how she had never heard Miguel use any type of tone with Lindy.

"Usually Lindy is the one where we're like, 'That's appropriate for Lindy,'" Alexis joked.

"But being at that retreat, we had no idea that anything was going on. And then we did find out that they were in some sort of dispute, and everybody was like, 'Oh, they'll be fine.' It wasn't a big deal because we know the quality of their relationship."

Lindy said her friends were so "reassuring" when she cried about how her relationship may be "over."

"They were like, 'Girl, we've all been doing this for the past however many weeks, every day. Finally, we were waiting for you guys to have a real conflict,'" Lindy said.

While it seemed Lindy and Miguel had squashed their beef before the prom, Miguel brought up the issue again and said he didn't like Lindy's attitude. Miguel complained about how Lindy's anger scared him, especially during moments she's irritated or frustrated.

Lindy told the cameras how Miguel was being "harsh" with her, and Miguel continued to scold Lindy, saying how she shouldn't get annoyed so easily about things. Miguel called the event "jarring," and he accused her of having "an outburst" about the photograph.

"Yes, I am a total f-ckup. I hear you. I'm the biggest f-ck up ever," Lindy said sarcastically.

Lindy was trying to enjoy her prom and so she thought Miguel was being "selfish" for not letting the past go.

The couple got into another disagreement after taking a horse-drawn carriage together. Miguel was trying to share one of his poems with Lindy during the right, but she kept interrupting him to point out things around them, such as a bunny hopping nearby.

"I'm running on fumes. I'm just, like, f-cking existing right now... I don't know if I'm going to get to the point where I just can't with this anymore," Miguel lamented in a confessional.

Miguel snapped at Lindy about her short attention span and said he didn't want to feel like he had to compete for her attention or beg for her to listen to him.

Lindy broke down into tears and said that she was trying her best, adding, "I'm still learning you. I don't know your triggers."

Miguel apologized to Lindy and owned how he was irritable, moody and borderline disrespectful to his wife, but his behavior continued throughout the rest of the trip.

Miguel even barked at Lindy for not acting like a supportive team player during a Dodgeball game, when the spouses had played on opposing teams. Lindy said Miguel made her feel like "a piece of sh-t," and she cried about feeling defeated.

Miguel wasn't sure if love was enough to keep his relationship going, and Lindy feared one wrong move would make Miguel give up on her and bounce.

"I can't do it anymore. I can't be the punching bag anymore," Lindy lamented.

And Miguel told the other guys on the show, "I don't know how we overcome this."

Married at First Sight currently airs on Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime and also stars Justin, Morgan, Binh, Stacia, Nate, Mitch and Krysten.
