During Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight: Afterparty, Lindsey watched back a Season 14 clip of Lindsey complaining about Mark's landlord, who had been "relentlessly" calling and texting Mark about a bedbug situation during his honeymoon in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

"Your landlord is like your mother-figure and a good friend of yours," Lindsey notes in the footage.

"A good friend, you know, I think she looks at me like a son. I get her position, but I was just shocked by it."

Lindsey proceeds to vent in a confessional, "How dare you change his lease in the middle of our honeymoon and send it to us and say, 'New lease -- no cats.' You knew he had three cats! You're going to evict him while we're on our honeymoon?!"

Afterparty host Keshia Knight Pulliam asked Lindsey why on earth the landlord would do this to Mark on his honeymoon.

"My guess is that she's afraid to lose him, and so instead of losing him to me in a marriage, she's just going to push him away," Lindsey reasoned.

Lindsey called the whole ordeal "really confusing."

"His landlord was like a mother-figure to him, and she even threw an engagement party for him," Lindsey revealed.

"And so for many times, she was that figure for him. And I think it was very difficult for him to lose that relationship in a blindsided way."

When asked if this relationship was "unsettling" to Lindsey considering Mark had been extremely close to this older woman, Lindsey replied, "Listen, a lot of his relationships are unsettling to me, if I'm going to be honest with you."

"I'm being really honest!" Lindsey added. "I think [Mark] is sometimes missing a factor of the whole picture."

Lindsey noted how Mark also had a strange dynamic with his married friend who's a woman.

"His married friend was calling him twice a day, too, [during honeymoon] to say, 'I love you, where are you? What are you doing?' And he was always on his phone," Lindsey complained.

"She's married, it was one of his wedding guests. She sent me a message saying, 'I'm his ride-or-die friend -- Mark likes X, Y, Z. He doesn't like this.'"

Lindsey said the text message bothered her and so she decided not to answer it.

"I thought it was a little audacious for her to insert herself as the most important woman in his life," Lindsey admitted. "I want a chance to make my own opinions about [Mark] on my own."

Lindsey therefore had "mixed opinions" about living with Mark in Boston, MA, after their honeymoon, especially because she had told Mark that he could move his belongings into her original place before moving into their shared apartment -- provided by the show -- together.

"I want to love him and support him as his wife because I'm very committed. You can put all of your stuff into my apartment and we'll figure it out after," Lindsey shared.

"That's that. And I think to myself, 'Girl, that's crazy! You don't even really know him!' You know?"

Lindsey said on the latest Married at First Sight episode that she thought Mark's landlord was "classless," and she promised to have her husband's back no matter what.

Lindsey was crazy about Mark and had even told him, "I love you," before the pair consummated their marriage in the first couple of days of their San Juan getaway.

Despite a couple of bumps in the road, Lindsey said she felt like the luckiest girl in the world to have been matched with such a kind-hearted and wonderful man, and Mark said he couldn't believe how he had met a woman who wanted to take care of him and do things for him for a change.

Married at First Sight's fourteenth season currently airs Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime and also stars Katina Goode and Olajuwon Dickerson, Jasmina Outar and Michael Morency, Noi Phommasak and Steve Moy, and Alyssa Ellman and Chris Collette.
