Married at First Sight star Krysten has shared her reaction to finding out that Mitch thought he was marrying her mother before Krysten walked down the aisle.

Krysten, a 32-year-old sales representative, and Mitch, a 41-year-old environmental policy advocate, were matched by Married at First Sight experts Pastor Calvin Roberson and Dr. Pepper Schwartz to wed on Season 15 of the Lifetime reality series, which filmed in San Diego, CA.

During the wedding ceremony, Krysten's mother preceded Krysten down the aisle, and the curvaceous brunette was rocking a skin-tight, cleavage-baring hot pink dress with see-through elements, lace and a high slit.

Once Krysten's mother took a seat, Mitch smiled and awkwardly waved at her.

Krysten appeared on Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight: Afterparty and watched back a Season 15 clip of Mitch sitting down with her mother at the wedding reception.

"So what was your impression when you first saw Krysten walking down the aisle?" Krysten's mother asks.

"It's, like, I mean, first of all, you're very beautiful, and she takes it from you. So when you actually walked down first, I was like, 'Is that my wife?'" Mitch admits.

Krysten cracked up laughing on Afterparty as host Keshia Knight Pulliam and fellow Married at First Sight star Justin joked about how Mitch was "hitting on" her mother.

When asked how she felt watching that scene back, Krysten said, "My mama is gorgeous! She is stunning! So I take it as a compliment, to be honest."

"And it was nice to hear," Krysten noted.

Krysten, however, revealed that her mother had some reservations about Mitch after getting to know him better at the wedding reception.

"She was a little concerned about the environmental extremism," Krysten admitted.

Mitch had talked to Krysten's mother about how he measures success through his impact on the world and not through income or wealth. Mitch seemed to focus the entire conversation on his passion for preserving the ocean, but Krysten's mom wanted Krysten and her husband to share similar life goals.

Mitch told Krysten's mother how he doesn't believe in love at first sight, and he wouldn't really say whether or not he found Krysten attractive.

Krysten said her mom was also worried about the "constant discussion of single-use plastics."

"And I believe he used the words, 'The environment is my religion.' [He said] something along those lines," Krysten shared.

During the wedding ceremony, Mitch's family and friends wanted Krysten to know that he's the whole package -- adventurous and active via surfing, bike riding and going to the beach five days a week. She was told Mitch is a great uncle and a very passionate person in his career.

"I recycle!" Krysten insisted.

Krysten's loved ones shared with Mitch how Krysten stops by the beach five days a week with her dog. They said she's a strong woman, who may put up some walls, but she's an extremely gentle and compassionate person. Mitch was also informed Krysten is loyal, steadfast, audacious, adventurous and spontaneous.

After exchanging sweet self-written vows and sharing a kiss at the altar, Krysten gushed, "I love it. [There is] 100 percent attraction and chemistry right off the bat. I am like hot for him, for real. I am!"

But when a friend asked Mitch if he was happy with his new bride, he seemed overwhelmed and replied, "It's a little early."

Mitch told the cameras, "At first glance, I thought she was really pretty, but I wasn't right off the bat attracted to her because my type is less physical and more lifestyle. She maybe seems a little more mainstream than me."

"I'm much more attracted to a woman in her natural state than super dolled up for a wedding," he continued. "I don't want to take anything away from the fact she looked amazing and really lovely, but I want to see the more natural side... I'm happy I think she likes me."

He added, "My hope for the future is that we really hit it off and that this little spark grows."

Mitch didn't seem to have confidence that his marriage would work out long-term.

"I just need to take it day by day and relax," Mitch said, adding how he used to project everything he wanted a woman to be on his girlfriend and then that person would end up disappointing him.

"It's my fault because I made them up to be something that they're not, so I'm trying not to fall into that trap."

Krysten, however, was pretty smitten, and she thought that she could potentially fall in love with Mitch.

Married at First Sight's currently-airing season on Lifetime also stars Justin and Alexis, Stacia and Nate, Morgan and Binh, and Lindy and Miguel.
