Married at First Sight star Johnny Lam claims his new wife Bao Huong Hoang wants to have sex multiple times every day and explained why that's a problem for him.

During Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Johnny watched back a Season 13 clip of himself telling Bao after skydiving that he'd like to have "some spontaneity" in his marriage since "work and everything else is so planned out already."

"To me... sex is a buildup of the entire day where we're just, like, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, and then it gets to the point where we finally see each other at night and come home from work and I'm like, 'Wow, I can't wait,'" Johnny explains to Bao in the clip.

"When we have sex, it's kind of like there was no indication that we're going to have sex but boom -- we have sex!"

Bao subsequently laments in a confessional, "Help, please! I am willing to try. I've tried and pushed and stretched myself in so many ways throughout this process. Give me something, please! Throw me a freakin' bone!"

On Unfiltered, Johnny mocked how Bao had said "throw me a bone" on the show, and he seemed annoyed with his wife.

Johnny explained that by wanting some "back and forth," he wanted "some flirting during the day, like some flirty texts," that would build tension before reuniting and having sex.

"When sex happens, it's because we have some kind of planned event that would naturally lead to sex," Johnny shared.

Johnny went on to reveal the real issue he was having with Bao instead of dancing around the subject.

"Bao says things -- I'll be honest with you," Johnny continued. "What she's complaining about is that we're not having enough sex."

Unfiltered host Jamie Otis -- who starred on Season 1 of Married at First Sight and is still married to her match, Doug Hehner -- appeared surprised and asked, "You think she's saying that?!"

"Yeah," Johnny confirmed.

Jamie pointed out, "That's a great problem to have, as a husband, I would think."

But Johnny disagreed and clarified, "[Bao] wants sex every day, multiple times a day. My complaint is that I don't want it to be a part of our routine, like, 'Oh, it's sex time!' Like, come on."

Johnny therefore said he was asking Bao for a "playful thing" leading up to the sexual encounter "so it doesn't seem like every time we are having sex, it's like something on your checklist that we have to do for the day."

Johnny's Married at First Sight co-star Zack Freeman suggested this should be "an easy fix" for the couple since it seemed both Johnny and Bao wanted the same thing in the love-making department.

"I mean, there is room to grow with that," Johnny noted.

"It's only been one month and there is still a lifetime to go, so if that is something that we can just talk about and work on, then fantastic!"

On the latest episode of Married at First Sight's thirteenth season, Bao also frustrated Johnny when the pair met up with the rest of the MAFS cast for lunch after each couple celebrated their one-month wedding anniversary.

"I really have been trying. I'm giving it my all," Bao told the group, as Johnny angrily picked apart a flower that was on the table. "I cook, I do gourmet meals, I bake, I do all these things in the house."

But Johnny countered in a confessional, "That is absolutely not true. You've cooked one time," adding that Bao played "the victim card" too much.

Johnny said he was tired of being blamed for doing things wrong, such as "expecting too much or being too critical."

"I feel like I'm caught in her web of stuff," Johnny told the cameras. "I feel like I'm being manipulated and I feel like I'm being played sometimes."

Johnny then told his MAFS co-star Jose San Miguel outside of the restaurant that Bao was lying and trying to make herself look good, and he called her "controlling" and manipulative again as well as "calculating."

"I don't want that in a wife. She keeps giving herself credit for things she hasn't done -- like stuff she says she's going to do but she hasn't followed through on," Johnny complained.

"I want a wife who follows through on what she commits to."

Johnny called himself and Bao "a square peg and a round hole." He described his marriage as "an uphill battle" and accused his wife of being obsessed with how other people view her.

Johnny claimed Bao would "do whatever it takes" to make people like her and see her in a positive light.

Married at First Sight currently airs on Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime and also stars Zack's wife Michaela Clark, Jose's wife Rachel Gordillo, Myrla Feria and Gil Cuero, and Ryan and Brett.
