Married at First Sight star Chris Williams has slammed Jamie Otis for suggesting Paige Banks should run from her marriage because she deserves so much better from a husband.

Chris has been the subject of scrutiny and backlash for how he's treated Paige on Season 12 of Married at First Sight, and he's apparently taking out his anger and frustration on Jamie.

On Tuesday, Lifetime's @mafslifetime Instagram account teased a split photo showing Paige telling Chris she'd "probably have to walk away" if Decision Day was today with the caption, "A storm is coming. Don't miss all the drama that's to come with a brand new episode of #MarriedAtFirstSight [Wednesday] night at 8/7c."

In the comments section later that day, Jamie wrote, "Paige, no one would blame ya if you wanted to RUN! I feel so bad for the mess you're in! Girllll, you deserve so much better! [Keeping it] 100."

When a fan commented that Paige should walk away and stop thinking she and Chris were bound together by their faith because "God does not bless mess," Jamie also commented, "ALL OF THIS, 100."

Chris posted a heated response on Wednesday -- both on the @mafslifetime post and on his own Facebook account -- and tagged Jamie, who married Doug Hehner on Married at First Sight's first season and currently hosts Lifetime's Married at First Sight: Unfiltered discussion show.

"@Jamie Otis. Did anyone tell your husband to run when you embarrassed him on national tv, crying and pouting like a 5 year old while still in your wedding dress at the altar?" Chris wrote in his post.

"Nothing no one has ever done to their spouse ever compares to that. After two failed stints on the bachelor?"

(Prior to appearing on Married at First Sight, Jamie competed on Season 16 of The Bachelor starring Ben Flajnik and then also failed to find love on Season 3 of Bachelor Pad.)

As Married at First Sight fans can recall, Jamie wasn't attracted to Doug when they first met at their wedding ceremony.

Jamie could barely look Doug in the eye when they exchanged vows, and she cried on her knees about whether she had made the right decision in marrying a stranger.

However, Jamie and Doug are still married today with two children, daughter Henley and son Hendrix, and their life together appears to be happy and fulfilling.

"You and your husband's story of redemption afterwards is amazing," Chris continued in his post, "but you would think there would be a little more grace from you."

One person wrote to Chris in the comments, "What 'graceful' man would say this? Every single time you open your mouth, garbage comes out. Zip it and learn."

Chris then fired back on Instagram, "I'm a grown man. I don't have to zip nothing!"

Similar to what Jamie had experienced on Married at First Sight, Chris was also not attracted to his wife Paige when they tied the knot on Season 12.

Chris told Paige's bridesmaids that Paige is "the opposite" of the women he was "used to" dating and his wife didn't fit the description of "a trophy wife" in his eyes.

One Instagram user replied to Chris' rant, "Jamie didn't sleep with Doug multiple times before crushing his heart. Jamie didn't gaslight him with fake tears. The situations are completely different."

Chris later continued to blow off steam on his Facebook account, where he further posted about Jamie, "If I as a black man would have cried at the altar and said that my wife was ugly in the manner that was done with Jamie as a white woman, y'all would have called for the death penalty for my head!"

"Why is it some people can get forgiveness, but the hell with others? #TellMeIAmWrong," he added.

Jamie had also been critical of Chris on last week's episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered.

After Jamie and Paige watched back a Season 12 clip of Chris asking his bride rapid-fire questions about sex during their wedding-reception dinner -- including whether Paige has "a high sex drive" and was on contraception -- Jamie's jaw dropped to the floor.

Jamie also appeared shocked when Chris informed Paige he had abstained from all sexual activity, including pleasuring himself, for three days prior to the wedding so he could enter their union with a clear head and pure intentions.

"I feel like that just put you in such a strange situation," Jamie told Paige on Unfiltered's February 3 broadcast. "I don't want to hear if you've masturbated or not for the last three days, like what?!"

Jamie poked fun at Chris for waiting "three whole days" for Paige, before mocking him by saying, "'Are you on birth control? Because I don't know how much longer I can wait!'"

Not only did Chris talk about sex and his ex-fiancee on his wedding day, but he also made comments about Paige's "fat azz" to the cameras and his friends.

Paige admitted to Jamie that she and Chris would need "therapy and Jesus" to make their marriage work.

"If this is something he is seriously committed to, then he will put in the necessary work and look outside of his physical eye and look into his spiritual eye," Paige explained.

"So I pray for his sake that, you know, in these next couple of weeks, he can really start to realize what he has in front of him."

Jamie replied, "If I could give anybody a standing ovation right now, it would be you."

As shown on Married at First Sight's twelfth season, Chris slept with Paige on the night of their wedding as well as the morning after -- despite his supposed lack of attraction to her.

Chris claimed he had "a panic attack" following the sexual encounters, and Paige was left feeling confused and devastated going into her Las Vegas honeymoon.

The next episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered airs Wednesday night and Paige will be appearing as a guest again, so it's possible Jamie will have more to say about Chris!
