Married at First Sight star Amber Bowles says she didn't even notice her husband Matthew Gwynne was nearly two feet taller than her when they met for the first time on their wedding day.

Despite the fact Amber didn't even reach Matt's shoulders, she was apparently distracted by her husband's good looks when she first saw him.

"I didn't notice the height! That was not the first [thing I noticed]," Amber told host Jamie Otis during a Wednesday appearance on Married at First Sight: Unfiltered.

"I noticed his eyes and I noticed his smile. I didn't even think about it. I knew he was tall, but everyone looks tall to me. I'm used to being short, so height for me, after you are six foot, I'm just like, 'Oh yeah, you are tall.'"

Amber was joined on the Unfiltered episode by her Married at First Sight co-star Gregory Okotie -- who wed Deonna McNeill for Season 9 -- and show expert, Pastor Calvin Roberson.

"I felt like Amber's neck was going to break because she was constantly looking [up]," Greg joked of the couple's wedding ceremony. "Her neck was [back] the whole time!"

And Pastor Cal added with a laugh, "She's used to it! She's like a Pez dispenser."

Amber said the first thing that went through her mind when she saw Matt standing at the altar was his smile.

"I liked his smile, like I could see his smile from way back. And I was like, 'This -- okay, he's cute!'" Amber gushed of her walk down the aisle.

"The way he was rubbing my hands and our kiss, it was really good. I really felt this vibe, and I didn't think I was going to have that!" Amber noted.

Amber also said of her first kiss with Matt, "His lips were really soft and perfect. It wasn't sloppy and I didn't have to wipe my mouth. It was a really good kiss!"

Jamie later asked Amber on Unfiltered what she envisioned her future with Matt would look like when they were exchanging vows.

"I'm envisioning us cooking breakfast together, drinking coffee together, cuddling, just watching a lot of basketball, possibly playing one-on-one -- if he let's me win -- I don't know," Amber explained.

"I would need a boost from him to dunk it. But I'm just seeing a lot of fun and a lot of adventure."

In addition to Amber, Matt, Greg and Deonna, Married at First Sight's currently-airing season on Lifetime also stars Iris Caldwell and Keith Manley as well as Elizabeth Bice and Jamie Thompson.
