Similar to prior seasons, Married at First Sight's tenth season will feature strangers meeting at the wedding altar and then spending the next eight weeks embarking on a honeymoon, moving in together, and navigating the joys and struggles of daily life together.
However, unlike the show's prior seasons, Married at First Sight's tenth-season episodes will be two hours long and feature five couples instead of four (when the show debuted five years ago, only three couples were featured, and four couples starred on Seasons 8 and 9).
End the end of the eight-week experiment, Married at First Sight's five Season 10 couples will reach "Decision Day" and have to decide whether to remain married or decide to end their marriages and divorce.
Like last season, the Season 10 couples were matched by Married at First Sight experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Calvin Roberson, and Dr. Viviana Coles -- who replaced Dr. Jessica Griffin on Season 9's expert panel.
The five brides who will be getting married at first sight are Katie Conrad, a 25-year-old mental health professional from Woodbridge, VA; Jessica Studer, a 31-year-old nurse manager from Oak Harbor, OH; Taylor Dunklin, a 27-year-old research scientist from Pittsburgh, PA; Mindy Shiben, a 34-year-old figure skating coach from Frederick, MD; and Meka Jones, a 25-year-old category analyst from Baltimore, MD.
The grooms who will be tying the knot with strangers are Derek Sherman, a 26-year-old cyber security engineer from Maryland; Austin Hurd, a 31-year-old network technician from Maryland; Brandon Reid, a 34-year-old sales manager originally from the U.S. Virgin Islands who was raised in Washington, D.C.; Zach Justice, a 32-year-old fitness professional from St. Mary's, GA; and Michael Watson, a 31-year-old education director from Washington, D.C.
The couples that are exchanging vows after meeting at the wedding altar are Katie and Derek, Jessica and Austin, Taylor and Brandon, Mindy and Zach, and Meka and Michael.
