Married at First Sight featured Zach Justice accusing Mindy Shiben of lying, Mindy discovering Zach secretly became friends with one of Mindy's besties, and Brandon Reid rejecting Taylor Dunklin's attempt to move forward in their relationship during Wednesday night's Season 10 episode on Lifetime.

An unprecedented five pairs of strangers were matched by returning Married at First Sight experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Calvin Roberson, and Dr. Viviana Coles to marry on Season 10 of the Lifetime reality series.

Brandon, a 34-year-old sales manager originally from the U.S. Virgin Islands who was raised in Washington, D.C., wed Taylor, a 27-year-old research scientist from Pittsburgh, PA.

Zach, a 32-year-old fitness professional from St. Mary's, GA, wed Mindy, a 34-year-old figure skating coach from Frederick, MD.

Michael Watson, a 31-year-old education director from Washington, D.C., was shown marrying Meka Jones, a 25-year-old category analyst from Baltimore, MD.

Katie Conrad, a 26-year-old mental health professional from Woodbridge, VA, married Derek Sherman, a 26-year-old cyber security engineer from Maryland.

And Jessica Studer, a 31-year-old nurse manager from Oak Harbor, OH, walked down the aisle to Austin Hurd, a 31-year-old network technician from Maryland.

Married at First Sight, Episode 11

The Married at First Sight broadcast began with the five couples having reached the halfway mark of this extreme marriage experiment and celebrating their one-month anniversaries.

Michael was shown cooking Meka a nice breakfast with mimosas included, and he was proud they were able to get through very difficult conversations.

Michael used to make breakfast with his grandmother, so he was expressing himself through food and told Meka such an act was a sign of his affection and care for her.

Meka admitted to cameras she hated breakfast and hoped this wouldn't become a trend or pattern, but she appreciated the gesture and wasn't going to stop Michael from cooking for her any time he offered to.

Meka said there had to be some middle ground because she doesn't even like to eat breakfast, when it's obviously Michael's favorite meal of the day.

But Michael was at least starting to feel comfortable in his marriage, and he said he was honoring the commitment he had made to her. Meka hoped to be equals and thought they were doing well in their marriage as well, so she seemed happy.

Austin was then shown doing something sweet for Jessica as well. Austin gave Jessica roses and a bottle of Rose, and he also bought a bucket of hand-mold so they could make a mold of their hands holding.

Austin wanted to do something crafty with Jessica that they could keep forever and jokingly "cherish for a lifetime." Jessica loved how goofy Austin was and how goofy they could be together, and their project actually came out awesome.

Meanwhile, Mindy invited Zach to watch her figure skate, and she showed him some moves on the ice. Mindy was excited to show Zach how she was in her element and welcome him into her world.

Mindy had hope they could turn things around because she thought Zach was putting effort in and finally started to connect with her.

Zach did a fine job but definitely fell a few times. He got a little competitive but called Mindy "a great teacher" and noted she looked pretty graceful on the ice. They appeared to have a fun time together.

The Married at First Sight experts gifted each couple with a basket full of memories from their wedding day -- including wedding photos. Viviana hoped a look down memory lane would help further their connections and deepen their bonds.

For their one-month anniversary, Michael brought Meka onto a boat, and he wanted to continue having fun and making memories in their marriage. But Meka said they needed to build a better foundation and make each other feel secure by being honest with each other.

Michael said, however, he appreciated the hard moments because they were growing closer together, communicating better, and overcoming a lot as a team. Both individuals were definitely putting effort into their relationship.

Meka gifted Michael some fancy ties and then Michael surprised his wife with a trip to Jamaica so they could do "the dolphin discovery" activity as a one-month gift but also to make up for what they had missed during their honeymoon in Panama due to fighting.

Meka was blown away, but she hoped things weren't becoming too good to be true.

Brandon and Taylor remain apart

As for Taylor and Brandon, they each spent their one-month anniversary alone. Taylor admitted her relationship with Brandon was "all over the place" and she didn't know what to think about it.

The couple wasn't talking, but Dr. Pepper hoped this time apart would help them to self-reflect and heal. Dr. Pepper hoped they'd find a way back to the path they had started on about one month prior.

Taylor said she entered her marriage very open but because of Brandon's "strike after strike after strike" she had built walls up. She began to wonder whether doing the show was all a waste.

Brandon said it sucked to be in this place as he looked through their photo album alone. He remembered having a beautiful wedding day with Taylor, and so it was hard for the both of them to relive it.

"The experts matched us for a reason, and maybe I'm not going to close the doors on that yet," Taylor said in a confessional.

Brandon said his goal had been for Taylor to become his best friend, but he accused her of making "a disgusting video" that she had posted to her Instagram Stories claiming she was single and looking for the right man who would meet all of her requirements.

"If she gives me an apology, maybe we can move forward in our marriage," Brandon told the cameras. "But I'm not hopeful to get an apology. I know it's not coming. I don't know. I don't really know."

Brandon rejects Taylor's apology

On Day 30 of marriage, Brandon revealed Taylor had reached out to him to see if they could make their marriage work and get back on track. Brandon admitted he was apprehensive to proceed in the relationship because he wasn't even sure he could buy Taylor's apology if she chose to apologize in the near future.

Brandon and Taylor then met up at a nail salon, where they both received manicures.

Pastor Cal said the couple was sabotaging their marriage and living in the past. He wanted the pair to exchange apologies, except what is, and move on.

Taylor gave Brandon a card for their one-month anniversary, but he regrettably didn't bring anything for her. Brandon said an apology was in the card in which Taylor said it was never her intention to hurt his feelings and she was sorry for hurting him and there being so much miscommunication.

Brandon wasn't sure, however, whether Taylor's apology was genuine and sincere because she had so many other opportunities to apologize beforehand. Brandon therefore grew quiet, and Taylor was upset they couldn't just have fun and enjoy a nice conversation.

Taylor acknowledged Brandon had a hard time letting things go and always seemed to think things were done to him as an attack against him.

But Brandon asked Taylor how she would have felt had he posted a similar video on Instagram, and Taylor said if he explained himself, she wouldn't have been mad. Taylor just thought Brandon was on the defense all the time and was simply trying to build a friendship.

"Do you want to be friends?" Taylor asked.

"No, I just want to move on with my life. I want to cut all of this and be done with it. This has just been a cluster F and it's stupid," Brandon replied.

Brandon said he didn't marry at first sight to have a friend -- he wanted to find a soul mate. And so he called Taylor's attempt to be friends "a slap in the face."

Taylor therefore asked Brandon if they were done, and he wasn't sure. She said she had offered her peace, and then Brandon took off.

Brandon was apparently upset Taylor had waited so long to apologize and wrote it in a card rather than saying it to his face.

"My wife is a narcissist. She doesn't see anything wrong and she has a problem with admitting when she's wrong, and I can't be with someone who can't even admit when they are wrong," Brandon told a Diary Cam.

"Here she is making mistake after mistake, and she's not owning up to any of those mistakes."

Katie and Derek feud

Meanwhile, Katie revealed she had informed Derek that she wanted to keep the townhouse she had been living in prior to Married at First Sight. She said the conversation didn't go over well and Derek asked why she was so "disgusted" to live with him, when she alleged she had never used that word.

Katie recalled saying it was discouraging every time Derek said he "knows he's not going to fall in love" in eight weeks or maybe even in six months. Katie didn't want to put all of her eggs into one basket because she had worked very hard to have a house and the life she wanted.

But Derek accused Katie of saying she had "checked out" of their relationship, and he was no longer sure she even wanted a future with him, which didn't make him want to put effort in.

"It ended with Derek saying, 'F-ck you' to me, which I did not like. And I honestly just felt, like, so unimportant... Now I'm feeling disrespected and overlooked a little bit, so we'll see what happens," Katie said in a confessional.

Austin and Jessica talk love

That night, Austin surprised Jessica with a beautiful dinner, cake and sunflowers in a place where they could watch their wedding video together. Austin said he never felt so close to someone so quickly in any relationship he had ever been in, and so he was "ecstatic" about his marriage.

Jessica felt she finally knew the person she had married, and she really liked that person. Jessica said if she had the chance to do this all over again, she would say "yes in a heartbeat." Neither spouse expected their relationship to be so easy and comfortable.

"Do you feel like you are growing in love?" Jessica asked Austin over dinner.

"Growing in love is the right mindset. It is not 'falling,' it is 'growing.' And every day, yes, I think we are growing together," Austin replied.

But Austin clearly wasn't at the point where he was ready to say, "I love you," and that disappointed Jessica a bit.

Jessica wondered whether she was feeling love and should tell her husband that, but she was scared to say it before Austin was there yet.

Zach accuses Mindy of lying

On Night 30, Mindy and Zach also enjoyed a nice anniversary dinner out. Mindy felt they were in "a happy place," and she really hoped Zach would want to spend the night with her at the apartment they were supposed to share.

When Mindy broached the topic of Zach sleeping over, however, Zach seemed to immediately shut down.

After a moment of silence, Mindy vented, "Honestly, it feels like a slap in the face sometimes when I'm following through on my commitment and you have time for everything but this."

"There's just so -- I mean, f-ck," Zach replied.

"Do you have a girlfriend?... Are you gay?" Mindy questioned. "Sorry, these are just the things my friends ask me all the time -- like, 'What's his deal?'"

Zach assured Mindy both of those things weren't true, and then he confronted her about something that had been on his mind.

"When you said to give this an honest effort, okay, before you said you feel like you're being robbed of this experience, and then you've said along the way, 'I committed to this. I signed up for this. I was excited about marriage. I was excited coming into this.' You haven't been honest with me," Zach said.

"And before the marriage, to the honeymoon, and after the honeymoon."

Mindy asked Zach what he was talking about, and he just told her to think about it and think about Panama.

"[Think about] anything you've been dishonest about," Zach urged.

"Well this sucks because I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't have any secrets," Mindy insisted.

"It's not secrets, it's just about not totally being honest about things," Zach clarified.

"Well, that's not fair because I don't know what you're talking about," Mindy noted.

"It's not my place anymore to say it," Zach said.

Mindy snapped, "I think you're making up some bullsh-t."

"Are you serious?!" Zach asked. "No, that not's true. I wouldn't do that."

Mindy wondered why Zach hadn't met her off-camera or sent her a text or something. She insisted she had nothing to hide and couldn't think of a single lie she had told him.

"I think you should probably think," Zach said.

"Why don't you just say it?" Mindy asked.

"I can't," Zach replied.

"For me?" Mindy begged.

But Zach ended the conversation and said he no longer wanted to talk about this on-camera. However, it didn't seem he had any intention to tell Mindy what exactly he was thinking about.

Zach just asked Mindy to figure out when she had been dishonest, even in the slightest bit.

"If you don't say what it is, it looks like you are making sh-t up," Mindy said.

Zach explained the incident happened before the wedding and it happened at the honeymoon and it happened after Panama.

"There's this revolving door of, 'I'm being robbed of this experience. I want to say I gave this an honest effort.' And in the back of my head, I'm like, 'Are you f-cking kidding me?! An honest effort?" Zach explained.

Zach then said Mindy's friends knew this and were involved and it was "the audacity of it all" and sucked.

But Mindy said she had no idea what Zach was talking about and was really upset about it. She told Zach there must have been a huge misunderstanding, but Zach said he saw Mindy do it and talk about it.

"Can you just stop wasting my time?" Mindy asked in complete frustration.

Mindy then vented to the cameras in a confessional, "I am pretty sure he is making everything up. I don't know. It's a mind f-ck. It's a bit of a mind-f-ck, and I am sick of Zach being able to f-ck with my head."

Mindy walked away from the dinner table, and Zach just threw his hand up into the air in defeat.

Katie and Derek celebrate their anniversary

After their fight, Katie and Derek enjoyed their one-month anniversary with a nice dinner out.

Katie was still upset, saying Derek felt attacked for not falling in love easily. She said he got very defensive and then said, "No offense, but f-ck you." Katie determined she never wanted a man to talk to and curse at her like that again.

Katie said Derek put walls up before they could finish their conversation and ended it prematurely, but Derek explained he wanted to talk about these things later so they could have some fun first and cool down.

Katie explained she would have been more receptive had Derek explained things differently to her.

"You can't tell me 'f-ck you' when we have a difficult conversation," Katie insisted.

"Yeah, then don't tell me you're checking out," Derek countered.

"You're pissing me off," Katie said.

"I'm sorry, but you're also frustrating me," Derek replied, asking Katie if they could just drop the argument and let it go. "I'm not trying to make a point."

Neither spouse imagined their one-month anniversary going like this, and Derek felt bad about the language he had used and for snapping. Katie and Derek both apologized for getting lost in the heat of the moment, and then they were able to have a good time.

Derek told the cameras he definitely saw a future with Katie and would become a better man for her.

Derek, a self-declared dreamer, then shared his ambitions with Katie at dinner to skydive, build a giant tree house, backpack through a different country, and compose a Christmas song. Katie jokingly had concerns, saying those goals wouldn't be possible to achieve if they have children together.

Derek then gifted Katie with tickets to a concert in Nashville to see her favorite artist perform, and she cried with happiness. He later surprised her with a romantic bath for the two of them with champagne, candles and more.

Mindy learns Zach has been talking with her friend Lindsay

Meanwhile, although Mindy was struggling in her marriage, she wasn't ready to walk away from Zach. She therefore invited him over her place to look through their wedding album together and talk.

The pair agreed so much had changed since their wedding day, and then there was awkward silence. She didn't know what Zach's "endgame" was, and she admitted her stomach had been in knots since Zach called her a dishonest person.

Mindy told Zach that him questioning her character wasn't sitting well with her, so she pleaded with him to share what she had done that supposedly impacted their relationship so greatly.

"It was more details of things you didn't say and you were hiding," Zach said, without getting into specifics. "I'm not going to go there."

"Well you need to go there or else you look like a liar," Mindy pointed out.

"Okay, well then I look like a liar. I'm not making it up... And so if I look like a liar, that's fine," Zach responded.

Mindy asked Zach if he had been in touch with any of her friends outside of seeing Shannie.

"Yeah, Lindsay has reached out to me," Zach suddenly revealed.

"Wait, wait, wait. Lindsay reached out to you?! When?" Mindy asked, taken aback.

"Shortly after the wedding... [on] Instagram. We started following each other, and I think when she found out things weren't going well, like me not wearing my ring or moving in when we got back [from Panama], she had things to say," Zach shared.

Zach admitted Lindsay had been hard on him, especially when he disclosed his lack of attraction to Mindy. Zach said Lindsay is very logical and it helped to receive advice from her.

"It sounds like you confided in her a lot of stuff," Mindy pointed out.

"I have sought help from her, yes," Zach replied.

Mindy then asked Zach if all of these conversations happened over Instagram.

"At first, and then we exchanged numbers," Zach said.

"Just texts? Do you think you should maybe tell me that you're having a friendship on the side with one of my friends?" Mindy asked.

Mindy said Zach was very hard on her for allegedly keeping something from him when he had never told Mindy about his friendship with Lindsay.

Zach acknowledged he could have mentioned talking to Lindsay, but Mindy still felt lost.

"You're both keeping this from me, that you're having a friendship," Mindy said.

Mindy asked if Zach's secret stemmed from something he had heard from Lindsay, but Zach denied that being the case and repeated, "No."

Zach promised they both had Mindy's best interests at all times and always talked about her.

"It wasn't all just about me though, or was it?" Mindy asked.

"Yeah," Zach replied.

Zach said Lindsay just gave him "perspective," but Mindy was surprised Zach had called her so-called best friend when he supposedly hated talking on the phone.

"You've never called me before," Mindy noted.

"I was driving," Zach said, explaining it was better to chat on the phone than respond to her text.

"So you've just talked once on the phone?" Mindy questioned.

"Yeah," Zach replied. "You can ask Lindsay if you'd like to... I haven't talked to her in days."

Mindy felt Zach had deceived her, but he told her not to dwell on these things.

Mindy was disappointed and upset by how everything had unfolded, and she told the cameras she found Zach "infuriating." She was not satisfied at all with Zach's answers and wanted to get to the bottom of things.


Mindy talks to Lindsay about Zach

Mindy therefore called Lindsay on the phone and confronted her about texting Zach. Mindy said she was open to forgiving her friend and didn't want to ruin their friendship over this, but she wanted the truth.

Lindsay revealed Zach had texted her that very morning and said something like, "Hey, happy Friday and good morning."

Mindy asked Lindsay how many times they had talked on the phone, and Lindsay said two or three times.

"It hasn't been much, but [definitely] more than once," Lindsay confirmed. "Because he has called me after things and been like, 'I need to talk to you about this.'"

Mindy asked if Zach had reached out to Lindsay "for the hell of it" or to really just talk about Mindy, and Lindsay replied, "I think both. I felt like we were building a friendship outside of just you."

"I think it's unfair to say all of our conversations have been about you, because that's just not true," Lindsay confessed.

Mindy said Zach had told her different things, like it had been a few days since they last talked.

"False. He texted me this morning," Lindsay repeated.

But Lindsay had deleted the text messages and said, "This is one of my biggest downfalls, is if someone is texting me who I don't want in my life at all, I just remove them from everything so I don't have their number accessible to me."

Mindy wasn't buying Lindsay's story, saying people don't delete text chains unless they're trying to hide something or they feel bad about something.

"It's frustrating... My husband and one of my closest friends are giving me opposite stories... about simple details you should know and remember. Lies, lies. I am dealing with two liars here," Mindy said in a confessional.

Lindsay then told Mindy that she was learning how Zach "manipulates things."

"So I said, 'I'm not going to talk to you again until filming is over,' like, 'We're done,'" Lindsay recalled.

But Mindy was surprised to hear Lindsay planned to become friends with Zach against once filming ending.

When Lindsay assured Mindy she didn't want to remain friends with Zach, Mindy replied by saying, "So why don't you block his number?"

"I should. You're 100 percent right. I can do that right when I get off the phone with you. I have no interest in ever talking to him again. I think he's a liar and a sociopath."

Mindy believed Zach and Lindsay had agreed to delete their conversations, and she figured somebody was lying. Lindsay promised to be there for Mindy, but Mindy was alarmed and shocked.

The episode concluded with Meka and Michael toasting with champagne and eating their wedding cake together, Derek and Katie taking a romantic bath, and then Jessica gushing about her feelings for Austin.

"The one thing that could've made this night better than what it already was, was maybe if Austin had said he loved me. I know I'm ready to say those words. I mean, I've been getting really close to it and I've been feeling it," Jessica revealed.

"I know that Austin feels the same way that I do. I just wish that he would say it first. I wish he would just say it! Just tell me you love me! It would've been the perfect way to end the night."

But Jessica and Austin kissed in bed before they fell asleep.
