The couples were matched by Married at First Sight experts Pastor Calvin Roberson, Dr. Jessica Griffin, and Dr. Pepper Schwartz based on compatibility, personality, life goals, hobbies, religion, views of marriage and gender roles, and much more.

Over the course of the season, which filmed for seven weeks, each couple was shown navigating the joys and struggles of daily life together after agreeing to an arranged marriage.

The Married at First Sight broadcast began with only three days remaining until "Decision Day."

Kate vented about how the previous night was "difficult" because Luke was "super upset" she had talked to Dr. Pepper about an intimacy issue regarding their sex life.

"I knew he was going to take it hard; I just didn't realize it would be that hard," Kate admitted in a confessional.

"That was probably the saddest day of this whole marriage, was that car ride home. I felt like he just kind of broke me."

The couples were then given their wedding videos to watch so they could look back on the flutters, excitement and expectations of that big, special day.

Kristine was thinking about a lot going into "Decision Day," saying there were a lot of things she liked about Keith but also a lot of things that annoyed her.

Meanwhile, Stephanie explained while she felt confident AJ was invested in their marriage for the long haul, his frustrations tended to get the best of him at times and could be overwhelming.

"With 'Decision Day' so close, I worry about what troubles may come in the future five or 10 years from now," Stephanie told the cameras.

As for Jasmine and Will, she confessed they do not have a perfect marriage even thought she felt extremely comfortable and optimistic on their wedding day.

When Kate and Luke watched their video, it was a bit awkward because Kate was still feeling down from the events that had transpired the previous day.

Kate felt "attacked" by Luke when she was just trying to have a conversation about what she needed from him in order to make their marriage work long-term.

Kate felt pretty bad, but Luke's sense of humor eventually made Kate cheer up and laugh as they watched their wedding together.

Luke told Kate he was "happy," and the video brought back home happy memories for Kate as well.

"Marriage means a lot to me, and I just can't quit it because it's not going well. Like everybody says, marriage is hard... I just don't feel we've given it everything we could yet, and I want to keep going," Kate said in a confessional.

Afterward, Stephanie brought AJ to one of her workout sessions. Since fitness is a big part of Stephanie's life, she wanted to welcome AJ into that.

However, AJ was out of his comfort zone and totally out of his element. He couldn't keep up, and after complaining quite a bit, AJ eventually quit.

"I'm f-cking done," AJ said as he walked out of the class, leaving Stephanie clearly disappointed.

Jasmine was then shown meeting with two of her friends, Tyesha and Devona, for lunch.

Jasmine said Will kept her laughing and they agreed upon welcoming children soon, but at the same time, she had an issue with cleanliness and their physical intimacy.

In addition, Jasmine told her friends that she has a high energy level while Will tends to be very calm and relaxed.

Jasmine was stressed out Will wasn't more "touchy-feely" in their relationship, and her friends were concerned Will isn't "a go-getter" like their pal.

"I am starting to feel that Will is leaning to stay together and that makes me feel a little bit scared... It's a huge risk and I'm just trying to look at it objectively," Jasmine told the cameras.

"I'm trying to figure out whether it's worth it or it should be done. I'd be disappointed if it's over because I do like Will, but I'm not sure we are a match in the long-term."

That night, Kate went out to dinner with two of her friends to discuss her marriage and connection -- or lack thereof -- with Luke.

Kate had committed herself to Luke and gotten to know him well, but her friends had their reservations.

Kate's friends did not trust Luke's intentions. They didn't think Luke had been considerate of Kate's feelings, nor did she seem happy with him.

One of Kate's pals wanted Luke to be honest with his wife because he had seemingly been throwing mixed signals at her.

The girls also didn't appreciate how Luke accused Kate of drinking too much when he also drinks frequently and keeps wine in their refrigerator at home.

Alyssa, in particular, wanted to make sure Kate liked Luke and not just the idea of Luke -- because he didn't seem to respect her. The girls feared Luke put Kate down constantly and "stifled" her.

"When I look back on the marriage, I realize I'm not myself. I'm just not sure how feasible it is for us to have a happy marriage," Kate said in a confessional.

With only two days remaining until "Decision Day," Keith met up with his uncle Gerard and revealed he's almost in love with his wife.

Keith called his marriage to Kristine his "happily ever after," even though things weren't perfect.

"I think I'm close to telling my wife I love her, but I'm still a little scared," Keith said in a confessional.

"I feel like I'm married to the person I'm supposed to be with and it feels amazing, so I think I need to step up to the plate and tell her how I feel because I don't want to lose her."

And Kristine told her mother Debra that Keith was caring and a good listener. She also said he worked towards fixing their issues every time she mentioned one.

Kristine admitted she had "extremely strong feelings" for her husband and hoped it wasn't "too good to be true." Kristine was afraid to get hurt.

Meanwhile, AJ and Stephanie enjoyed a nice dinner out. AJ said their relationship had been "unexpected in the best possible way."

He could see Stephanie being a forever kind of love and hoped Stephanie was on the same page. AJ wanted to stay together and announce to the world they were strong.

But Stephanie was concerned about how AJ acts when he gets annoyed, upset or frustrated.

"How are we going to be when we're on our own and we don't have help anymore? I don't know. I am unsure," Stephanie vented to the cameras.

Stephanie told AJ they had seen in each "not in the best of light" and it made her a little nervous.

As for Kate and Luke, they also went out to dinner seven weeks into their marriage.

Kate's heart was telling her to look out for herself.

"I'm wavering, but I'm leaning towards a divorce," Kate told the cameras, admitting she needed to have an honest and open conversation with Luke.

Kate told Luke he put work, friends and family before their marriage.

"I definitely like you. You know that right?" Luke asked.

Kate insisted Luke had said, "I don't like you," to her before, but Luke argued she had misinterpreted his words.

"I've said I don't like things you do sometimes," Luke said.

The pair argued their viewpoints back and forth, and tension was clearly in the air.

"I don't forget something like that because it hurts," Kate noted.

"I feel you remember stuff differently a lot of times though," Luke said.

Kate, however, wasn't backing down. And for the first time in a while, viewers saw her stand up to Luke and give him some attitude.

"I think you remember things differently too," Kate insisted.

Luke told Kate there were things she did that he found "very attractive," and he wasn't willing to give up on their marriage just yet.

Luke was learning more about Kate and discovering why they were matched to begin with. He expressed how he cared about her, and Kate obviously reciprocated such feelings.

"I don't want to get a divorce. It's stressing me out you haven't been happy for the entire marriage," Luke said.

"That's not completely true," Kate noted.

Luke said he felt happier than Kate was, but Luke insisted he was just "mostly tired." Kate agreed he tried to do too much.

Both individuals seemed committed to making their relationship work, and every time Kate tried to withdraw herself from Luke, he managed to find a way to suck her back in.

"It would be a great, amazing love story if we were able to be together forever," Kate told the cameras.

Jasmine and Will were then shown having their final dinner together before "Decision Day," and Jasmine said they had some issues to discuss further.

Jasmine was wondering if Will really was the right person for her.

Will thought their intimacy had improved, especially when it comes to cuddling on the couch. Will also believed his problems with Jasmine were "getting better."

They both had a lot of thinking to do when trying to determine whether they were truly invested in the marriage and could eventually fall in love.

Eighteen hours before "Decision Day," each couple parted ways, as the rules required them to stay at different locations for the night.

The experts wanted each individual to spend some time alone in order to think things through and figure everything out.

Jasmine admitted she was "in limbo" in regards to her decision, and Luke found himself struggling to watch Kate walk away from their place together.

"We both care about each other a lot. It's been such a rough path, but we've grown together and it's definitely heavy -- super heavy -- thinking this might be the last time we're together in this apartment," Luke told the cameras.

Stephanie then acknowledged there was still a lot to learn about AJ, and Kristine was sad to watch Keith leave their place.

Ten hours before "Decision Day," every individual found him or herself alone. They had the biggest decision of their lives coming up.

Luke was stressed out because there was a lot of uncertainty, and Kate was sad and confused.

Kate didn't know where to start when making this decision and wished she and Luke had talked through things more as a couple.

The episode concluded with AJ revealing Stephanie meant "the world" to him and he hoped she would decide to spend the rest of her life with him.

"I think we're solid, but again, there's an unknown. I'm confident but also scared a little bit," AJ said in a confessional.

All of Stephanie's past relationships left her devastated, so she feared that might happen again.
