Married at First Sight expert Pastor Calvin Roberson has revealed there's one major reason why Stephanie Sersen and AJ Vollmoeller were matched as spouses by the experts.

After letting out a laugh, Pastor Cal reiterated, "If anybody could do that, it would be [Stephanie], because she has this, like, calm in the storm."
Stephanie, who joined Pastor Cal on the Unfiltered episode, apparently agrees with the pastor's assessment of her vibe.
"Totally true," Stephanie noted.
As shown on Season 8 of Married at First Sight, AJ can be loud, outgoing, personable and very talkative. At times, Stephanie can barely get a word in.
Stephanie admitted she "more often than not" has to tell AJ to zip it so she can share her opinion or two cents on a subject.
"[But] it's not too much because I can always tell what he's feeling, which is nice," Stephanie explained of her husband.
"I don't have to guess, so it's easy for me to know when he's mad or he's happy because I can tell. The only thing that can get too much is when he is flustered, because he gets flustered really quick. So that's the only thing."
AJ has already proven he has a short temper on Married at First Sight and gets easily frustrated in certain situations.

Not only did he lash out at production for having to complete a homework assignment during his honeymoon in Costa Rica, but he also complained a lot and quickly became overwhelmed when packing up his belongings in his apartment to move in with Stephanie.

When Jamie asked Stephanie whether she could foresee AJ's temper being a problem in their relationship, Stephanie replied, "At this point, I don't think so."
"I mean, everybody gets upset at times and then you recover," Stephanie added.
AJ and Stephanie both love traveling, adventure and exciting dates, but they do appear to have opposite personalities.
"We felt like with him, he needed [Stephanie's] personality in his life," Pastor Cal said on Unfiltered, speaking on behalf of his fellow experts, Dr. Jessica Griffin and Dr. Pepper Schwartz. "And I'm so happy to see it's actually working."
