Each hour-long episode will document the weight-loss journeys of five women -- Anna Lloyd, Lydia Moody, Megan Stewart, Shawna McClellan and Morgan Lancaster -- as they attempt to look their best for Lloyd's upcoming wedding.

"The five ladies of DietTribe are relatable to our viewers because they continue to lead their real lives while at the same time supporting each other through a program of healthier eating, exercise and emotional well-being," said Lifetime Networks executive JoAnn Alfano.

Over the course of 90 days, the five friends will attempt to turn their poor habits into healthy choices by each losing 30 pounds or more with the help of personal fitness trainer Jessie Pavelka and psychotherapist Stacy Kaiser.

"The DietTribe concept is unique in that it explores how the very friendships that enable us to make poor eating and lifestyle choices can be the same friendships that encourage healthier ways of living," said Alfano.

The five-episode series is being produced by Pie Town Productions, with Tara Sandler, Jennifer Davidson, Kris Curry and Scott Templeton serving as executive producers.
