The Florida newspaper 'Hernando Today' has reported that Big Brother 3 contestant Josh Feinberg was immediately recognized by former Hernando County jurors when he began appearing on the CBS reality show because of a suit he had against a local Winn Dixie supermarket when he resided in the area.

"It's definitely him," says Robert Knowles of Brooksville. "None of us on the jury believed a word he said."

The jurors awarded Feinberg $15,000 in damages for claims he was permanently injured when he stumbled in a small hole in the sidewalk of the former Winn Dixie supermarket in the Western Way Plaza in 1997. Feinberg sought much more. When the mishap occurred, Feinberg was a waiter at the Spring Hill Pizza Hut. He had moved to New York by the time his case reached trial in 1998. He now lives in Queens, N.Y., where he is still working as a waiter.

The jurors didn't know during three days of trial that two defendants had already settled with Feinberg for more than $80,000. When the jurors awarded him $15,000, they also decided Winn Dixie was only 10 percent responsible for Feinberg's injuries. The store wound up paying only $1,500.
