Lace Morris says the feelings she developed for her ex-fiance, Grant Kemp, on Bachelor in Paradise were surface level.

During a preview clip of The Ben and Ashley I: Almost Famous podcast, which airs June 5 at 11PM ET/PT on iHeartRadio, Lace revealed she wasn't genuinely in love with Grant despite getting engaged on the finale of Bachelor in Paradise 3 in Summer 2016, Us Weekly reported.

Ashley Iaconetti, who co-hosts the podcast with Season 20 The Bachelor star Ben Higgins, asks Morris in the preview clip, "I want to know whether that was really love right there, or was it lust?"

Lace, a 25-year-old real estate agent, then quickly responds of her relationship with Grant: "I think it was lust. It was definitely lust."

Lace and Grant, 28, "mutually" split in November 2016, only two months after their engagement aired on television.

"I think lust is like sexual and you kind of have this fantasy of what you want. You want it to work, you think this guy is attractive, you think you're in love. It's almost forced," Lace says on the podcast.

Shortly after their breakup, Grant was spotted out with another woman and Lace confessed she was "shocked" he had moved on so quickly, adding that there was no chance of a reconciliation. Several months later, Grant told Us that their relationship was "very volatile."

Lace, however, suggested she has found her happily-ever-after with a new man.

"I found love right now. Now, I'm really in love," Lace reveals in the podcast.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! So you're in love right now -- but not with Grant, who was on [JoJo Fletcher]'s season of The Bachelorette, whom you came back from Paradise with -- with somebody else?" Ben asks for clarification.

"Yes, I ironically found him on [the dating app] Bumble. It's a weird story but we just, like, talked for two months and then we finally met, and the rest is history! That's it!" Lace gushes.

Lace's new boyfriend is named Russell, according to Us, and she wrote on Instagram that he makes her heart often skip a beat.

Prior to appearing on Bachelor in Paradise last year, Lace competed for Ben's heart on The Bachelor while Grant vied for the affection of JoJo on The Bachelorette's twelfth edition.
