The 61-year-old reality star opened up on Monday's episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" about her 36-year-old daughter being robbed at gunpoint in Paris.

"We just started seeing some of the stuff that had come out of those days, and nobody can even get through the first five minutes without being hysterical," Jenner said of her family's E! series, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

"I get choked up just thinking about it and talking about it.

"It's remarkable to listen to her tell the story," she added of Season 13, which will cover the robbery and its aftermath. "It's changed the way we live our lives and just the way we take care of our kids and my grandchildren."

"I was watching it and I was bawling when I saw it," the star confessed. "I just saw some of it, and I couldn't even watch the whole thing. I mean, it was so upsetting. It was such an upsetting time when something so awful happened to somebody that you love so much."

Kardashian was robbed of her cellphone and millions of dollars worth of jewelry Oct. 2 in her Paris hotel room.

The mom-of-two kept a low profile and off social media for months, but has slowly been returning to the spotlight.

"She wants the people responsible to get punished," a source told People this month after the star testified about the incident for a second time.

"The robbery was traumatizing for Kim. Even months later, it still affects her every day life," the insider added. "She wants to get some kind of closure."

French news channel TF1 released photos of the crime scene and surveillance video of the alleged robbers over the weekend.

"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" will return to television on E! on Mar. 5.
