Kim Kardashian ignores most rumors because she doesn't have time to address them or simply doesn't care, but drug use apparently crosses the line for the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star.

Kardashian, 36, is vehemently denying a Twitter user's claim that she took a video of herself with cocaine sprawled out in the background, Us Weekly reported.

Kardashian reportedly posted a Snapchat video on Monday, July 10 to show fans several new pieces from her children's clothing line, and in the background was a black counter with what appeared to have two small lines of a white substance on it.

One of Kardashian's followers spotted the substance and, according to Us, subsequently tweeted, "Ohhhhhh @KimKardashian caught out with cocaine .. durtayyyyy."

The reality TV star and mother of two -- North, 4, and Saint, 19 months -- wasn't going to sit back and allow speculation on this serious matter to spread any further.

Kardashian therefore quickly slammed the allegation Tuesday, July 11 on Twitter.

"I do not play with rumors like this so I'm gonna shut it down real quick," Kardashian responded to the since-deleted tweet. "That's sugar from our candy mess from dylan's candy shop."

Kardashian has reportedly put a lot of effort into avoiding alcohol and drugs since her teenage years.

"My dad [Robert Kardashian Sr.] always put such a big responsibility on me," Kardashian said during a May appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

"In high school and college, [Kourtney Kardashian] was such a big drinker. My dad was really well aware. So when I was 14, he would teach me to drive his car and made me go with my sister every weekend to watch her [at parties]. I'd drive everyone home, everyone would take advantage of me and only have me hang out just to drive everyone home. I felt this sense of responsibility."

Kim also reportedly touched upon her sober lifestyle on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno in 2010, revealing, "I hate the taste of alcohol."
