The 36-year-old "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star said on Sunday's episode of "Watch What Happens Live" that her relationship with Humphries ended because she wed the 32-year-old NBA star for the wrong reasons.

"I just thought, 'Holy [expletive] -- I'm 30 years old, I better get this together. I better get married,'" Kim Kardashian explained to host Andy Cohen on the after-show.

"I think a lot of girls do go through that where they freak out thinking they're getting old and have to figure it out, all their friends are having kids. It was more of that situation," she added.

"I knew, like, honeymoon, it wasn't going to work out."

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries in October 2011 after 72 days of marriage.

Her sister Khloe Kardashian said in an interview with Snoop Dogg in 2016 that she had warned Kim Kardashian not to marry Humphries.

"There's a ton of times when I've told [Kim] the truth, like when she wanted to marry Kris Humphries," Khloe Kardashian said before calling Humphries a "dog."

"She didn't have to hear me, and that's okay. The fact is, I said what I had to say," she added. "So I said the truth and in hindsight she was like, 'You were right.'"

Kim Kardashian was previously wed to Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004, and went on to marry rapper Kanye West in 2014.

She and West share 3-year-old daughter North and 17-month-old son Saint.
