The 35-year-old "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star admitted the 3-year-old "still wants things to be all about her" while discussing North's dynamic with son Saint West in a recent interview.

"She's still getting the concept of having a brother," Kardashian told Elle magazine. "Like, Penelope and Reign [Disick] are her cousins, but Saint is here every day because Saint is her brother."

"I like to bring her in to say 'good morning,'" she shared. "She still wants things to be all about her, because she's three! But planting that seed every morning that the day starts with you and your brother, that's how I've been doing it."

"She's getting so much better," the star said. "I can't wait until they can really start communicating -- although once he's big enough to start grabbing her toys, we'll have to get involved in a different way."

Kardashian shares North and Saint with husband Kanye West, whom she married in Florence, Italy, in 2014.

The reality star had told E! News prior to Saint's birth that North was excited to have a sibling.

"We talk about baby brother all the time," she revealed in November. "[North's] so sweet and yesterday she said, 'Mommy, can I give baby brother a kiss on your tummy?' and she kissed my stomach."

"She had a hard time when I hold other babies, but she's been getting a little better," the star said. "I'm hoping that with her brother it's a whole new experience."

Kardashian called North her "best friend" in a sweet birthday message to the toddler in June.

The star made headlines this week for releasing a secretly recorded conversation between West and Taylor Swift about the rapper's song "Famous."
