Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West have reportedly ditched their longtime bodyguard Pascal Duvier.

Duvier, 43, began working with West in 2012 and later teamed up with Kardashian in 2013.
"The decision wasn't personal," an insider told Us, "but rather a complete overhauling of security after the incident."
Duvier was replaced with armed security because he never carried a gun, X17 reported. Kardashian wants to make sure all of her bodyguards have gun permits.
The Selfish author, who has more than 86 million followers on Instagram alone, has maintained a low profile in public and on social media since being tied up, gagged and robbed of about $10 million in jewelry -- which included her 4.5 million diamond engagement ring from West -- in her Paris hotel room on October 3.
A "highly organized" gang committed the crime, according to police officials.
Duvier was not with Kardashian the night of her life-threatening scare, so she reportedly does not find him responsible.
"Pascal was with Kourtney and Kendall at L'Arc Nightclub. Kim felt safe at the apartment by herself," the insider said. "Kim is not blaming Pascal. She felt completely safe at the Paris apartment and doesn't believe this is his fault in any way."
Kardashian recently returned to Facebook, but it turned out the posts were published in error by her team and she is still debating when the right time would be for her to come back.
"She's not doing well," a source recently told Us, adding that Kardashian has had "difficulty sleeping" and "anxiety when she leaves the house... This shattered her world."
The reality TV star didn't even make a big deal out of her 36th birthday in late October, as she spent it with West and their two children -- daughter North, 3, and son Saint, 10 months.
Kardashian, however, was spotted out with Kendall celebrating her 21st birthday on Wednesday at Catch LA and Delilah's. Kardashian has also attended West's concerts.
