Kim Kardashian being robbed at gunpoint may have devastating effects on her lifestyle.

The 35-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is "emotionally damaged right now," a source told E! News, just days after two masked men dressed as police officers tied her up in a Paris hotel room and stole about $10 million in jewelry.

"This is something that has the potential to screw anyone up for a very long time," the source explained. "It was incredibly frightening and it's going to take a while to get over it."

Kardashian seems to be hiding out after allegedly begging intruders not to take her life.

The mother of two has maintained a very low profile since the incident, avoiding social media and public appearances altogether.

For instance, the reality TV star and her longtime trusted makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic have postponed a makeup demonstration scheduled for October 14 in Dubai, which is more than one week away still.

"Dear Dubai Masterclass Attendees, On behalf of myself and Kim Kardashian West, please accept our apologies. We are sorry to inform you that due to the recent events, we will be rescheduling the Dubai Masterclass with Kim Kardashian West," Dedivanovic wrote in a statement on his Instagram account.

"We understand the inconvenience that this has caused you. You will have the option to cancel and receive a full refund, or we can hold the ticket for the rescheduled date. Rescheduling details will be sent out within the week. We deeply and sincerely apologize from the bottom of our hearts. We truly hope you all understand the decision we had to make and look forward to our upcoming class. We will update you via email and TheMasterClass.com. Sincerely, Mario."

Kardashian flew to New York City to be with her husband Kanye West after her terrifying encounter in France.

Family members, including her mother Kris Jenner, have reportedly been sighted visiting the couple's residence in recent days.

West has also apparently stepped up to provide comfort and support for his wife.

In fact, he rescheduled two early October shows in his Saint Pablo Tour for later dates in December to be at her side.
