Khloe Kardashian has set the record straight on the status of her relationship with Lamar Odom.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has opened up about how she's not ready to get back together with Odom romantically although she definitely intends to remain at his side while he continues treatment and therapy, People reported.

"It's out in the media that we are back together, but I wish people understood that's not in our thought process right now. There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It's not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now," Kardashian, 31, told People.

It's probably best to sum up Odom and Kardashian's dynamic right now as complicated.

"It's not anything sexual or intimate," she elaborated. "Tragedy does make you reassess a lot of things, but when it comes to our relationship, it's the same, except I'm here supporting him fully."

Kardashian is all about being Odom's support system right now as his health improves. He suffered a drug overdose on October 13 in a Nevada brothel, spent four days in a coma and has been dealing with an uphill battle ever since. Odom is currently at a Los Angeles hospital so Kardashian can be close to him.

"There is a very long road ahead of him, and he has to walk that road by himself. But I'll be there supporting him every step of the way," Kardashian confirmed of the former NBA star, adding however, there is "no rush" to finalize their divorce once things settle down.

Kardashian also admitted she put her relationship with boyfriend James Harden, a 26-year-old Houston Rockets player, on the back-burner in light of Odom's situation. 

"[I'm] not trying to get married tomorrow to anybody," Kardashian told People. "It's just bad timing to proceed with that right now. And also for medical reasons, it's just smarter that gets on hold for a minute."

But Kardashian reiterated how people shouldn't read into her decision to part ways with Harden for the time being.

"That does not mean I'm back with Lamar. That's a whole other thing that only time will tell. I can't tell you what tomorrow brings," the reality TV star explained, suggesting that her break from Harden might only be temporary. 

"[James] has been great with me, and I'm just allowing everything to unfold. If it's ever too overwhelming [for him], then I understand that as well."

An insider told E! News that Harden has been very supportive of Kardashian during this difficult time and has been in "constant contact" with her since Odom's health crisis began.

As for Odom's condition, Kardashian explained, "Every hour is different. It goes up and it goes down. Things are progressing, but it's a very serious situation."
