Kelly Osbourne has come to the defense of Kate Gosselin.

The former Dancing with the Stars celebrity participant feels people should cut the show's current tenth-season celebrity participant some slack after reports recently surfaced that she's been a "total diva" on the set.

"Yeah, it's going to be hard because she has eight kids, but at the same time, people really need to give her a break," Osbourne told Us Weekly in a Wednesday report.

"She has eight kids to feed, remember that. And if she is going to take a job, why not do one that is fun? She is going to have a blast!"

The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star was accused of being a "total diva" in a recent New York Post report in which a source claimed she "wants to be queen bee" and "doesn't want anything to do with other contestants."

While Gosselin denied the report, Dancing with the Stars' professional Mark Ballas subsequently described her as "standoffish" during their first meeting.

"I think she has got a good chance of winning," Osbourne told Us about Gosselin, who is paired with professional Tony Dovolani.

Despite liking Gosselin's chances, Osbourne said she's pulling for her former professional partner Louis van Amstel.

"I am Team Louis," she told Us, "and Neicy Nash. I love her. She is great!"
