"This most recent attack on Kanye West and his family is totally without merit," the rapper's representative said in a statement obtained by Us Weekly.

"It's a blatant attempt by a misguided individual who is clearly seeking publicity, and another in a series of malicious stories drummed up by non-credible 'news' sources. This is a sad attempt to hurt two people trying to live their lives."

Leyla Ghobadi, a 24-year-old Canadian model and bartender, claimed she and West hooked up twice after they met at one of his concerts in July 2012 when the rapper allegedly asked his security to grab her out of the crowd and then they went for drinks afterwards, TMZ reported.

They allegedly began hanging out three months into West and Kardashian's relationship, and one of the sexual encounters reportedly occurred when the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was pregnant.

According to TMZ, West insisted to Ghobadi that he's dating Kardashian just to get more fans.

West and Kardashian are both expecting their first child together, a baby girl due in July.
