The former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star made the announcement on Saturday via Facebook.

"Ok for everyone [who] asked if we are going to be back on TV, the answer is yes and it will be very soon," Shannon said in a post, adding however, her family's new show will not air on TLC.

"I will be able to get out more details soon but we are excited as it will air starting in December but it will not be Here Comes Honey Boo Boo kind of thing but it will be reality TV and it will be real and unscripted like we have always ever been. That's [the] only kind of TV we believe in."

The mother of Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson continued, "And we want you all to see the true side of all of us hope everyone had a great Halloween and don't forget to turn your clock back #realitytv #awesometime #awesomefans. And we want to say thanks to our fans that have stuck by us and continue to support us through the thick and thin we love you all and we appreciate each and every one of y'all."

TLC pulled the plug on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo in October 2014 after "compelling evidence" surfaced Shannon had been dating Mark McDaniel, a convicted sex offender who spent 10 years in prison after previously molesting Shannon's now 21-year-old daughter Anna Cardwell at age 8.

The network and show executives believed Shannon put her kids in danger, so that's why they canceled the popular series.

"TLC has canceled the series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and ended all activities around the series, effective immediately," the network said in a media statement at the time. "Supporting the health and welfare of these remarkable children is our only priority. TLC is faithfully committed to the children's ongoing comfort and well-being."

Shannon later denied having been in a romantic relationship with McDaniel although they had history together. She claimed they had just bumped into each other on a couple different occasions.
