Julianne Hough is no longer uncertain if she'll be back for Dancing with the Stars upcoming spring installment.

"No, not next season," she told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show at Los Angeles' New Moon movie premiere on Monday night.

The American Idol host subsequently asked Hough if she plans to return after the spring's tenth season.

"We're going to cross that bridge when we get to it," she answered with a laugh.

Last November, the two-time Dancing with the Stars professional champion had stated she would not be back for the show's Spring 2009 eighth season.  She subsequently reiterated the decision was "final" because she wanted to focus on her singing career and be "taken seriously" as a musician.

However shortly thereafter Hough stated she "may have put my foot in my mouth when I said I wasn't going to come back next season" -- and that turned out to be the case when she was paired with then-boyfriend Chuck Wicks for the eighth season, which she later explained was a "last-minute deal."

Even before Hough and Wicks were ousted from the competition, she said she still planned to skip the currently airing ninth season -- a decision she followed through on.

Hough's music career continues to be her focus, as she told Seacrest she's currently working on her sophomore album.

"I'm working on my new record right now," she said. "I have that like two months out, so I'm working on that right now. I'm just writing a bunch for it."

In addition to focusing on music, Hough is also attempting to launch her career as an actress -- as she's begun filming Burlesque, a new film that will also feature Christina Aguilera, Cher, Cam Gigandet, Kristen Bell and Stanley Tucci.

"I'm working on Burlesque now, a film with Christina and Cher. It's amazing. It's so awesome," she told Seacrest.

"We just shot last week for the first couple of days and basically I'm completely battered and bruised -- it looks like I've got rug burn all over my body."

Hough has also been tapped to star in a remake of the film Footloose alongside Gossip Girls actor Chace Crawford.

"They're just getting a new director and stuff," she explained. "I go straight into that after Burlesque."

In addition, Seacrest couldn't pass up the opportunity to ask Hough about her recent split from Wicks -- which she confirmed last week.

"Are you single?" asked Seacrest.

"Technically," answered Hough.
