MTV has announced Jersey Shore Family Vacation Part 2 will premiere with a two-hour episode on Thursday, August 23 at 8PM ET/PT.

The second season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation will kick off with the housemates in Las Vegas, NV, before they travel back to New Jersey where it all began for a weekend in Atlantic City and some fun on the shore.

The series will continue to feature original cast members Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino.

The group will welcome new family members and relive their glory days which were featured on the original Jersey Shore show.

Deena, Pauly D, JWoww, Ronnie, Snooki, and The Situation will also celebrate some milestones together.

"The housemates return for even more fist pumping and grand antics," the network teases. "But, when their personal lives spill out into the tabloids and on social media, the group must confront a variety of issues."

Jersey Shore's other original star, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, will once again not be making an appearance on Family Vacation Part 2.

Sammi's ex, Ronnie, will reportedly be shown taking on fatherhood for the first time with his on-again, off-again flame, and The Situation's wedding with his longtime girlfriend Lauren Pesce will also be featured.

Jersey Shore ran for six seasons on MTV from 2009 to 2012. Its Family Vacation spinoff premiered on MTV in early April and followed the cast living together for a month in Miami, FL. The first season wrapped in late June.

Jersey Shore Family Vacation was renewed for a second season back in February, before the first edition even debuted on MTV.

Jersey Shore Family Vacation Part 2 is being produced by 495 Productions, with SallyAnn Salsano, Nina L. Diaz, and Jackie French serving as executive producers.
