Proving they can't win a challenge no matter what their tribe is called, Survivor: All-Stars' four remaining Mogo Mogo members, all now part of the Chapera tribe, lost their fourth straight Immunity Challenge competition on last night's CBS broadcast, sending the foursome once again back to Tribal Council and Survivor: The Australian Outback's Jerri Manthey out of the game.

Survivor: All-Stars' ninth episode opened with the program's ten remaining contestants once again expecting what they've been anticipating for several days now -- a tribal merge. After receiving Tree Mail containing paint the color of each other's tribe, most contestants were more confident than ever the a merge was about to happen, only to gather together and be surprised when Survivor host Jeff Probst informed them that the tribes weren't merging, but instead getting shuffled.

Instead of a Reward Challenge the contestants were treated to some snacks and alone time with a member of the opposing tribe, with Jenna Lewis and Amber Brkich, Chapera's two extra members, getting to picnic with each other. After the lunch, Jeff informed the contestants that rather than the expected merge, they would all simply draw new buffs to determine to which tribe they would belong. Defying all odds, the random draw ended with all the Mogo Mogo members drawing Chapera buffs and all the Chapera members except Amber drawing Mogo Mogo buffs, resulting in a nearly complete tribal swap.

Suddenly the lone outcast in her own Chapera camp, Amber's relationship with previous fellow Chapera tribemember Rob Mariano was brought to a sudden halt, at least temporarily, with the new Mogo Mogo tribe mourning her absence and anticipating her quick departure should the new Mogo Mogo tribe once again defeat the new Chapera at the upcoming Immunity Challenge.

When the time for the Immunity Challenge came, the survivors discovered it was something they should all be good at -- trivia questions about the first seven editions of Survivor. After only each missing one of the quiz's questions, the two tribes entered a tiebreaker round where the new Mogo Mogo prevailed by correctly naming the first bootees of all seven Survivor programs.

Having lost the immunity Challenge, the Chapera initially planned to go with the obvious decision to oust Amber, however after analyzing the situation a bit with Shii-Ann Huang and Kathy Vavrick-O'Brien, viewers learned that while Lex van den Berghe certainly has a gut, he apparently has no spine -- as, fearful of post-merge reprisals from Rob, the threesome decided to boot alliance-mate Jerri rather than the Robfather's personal cuddle bunny.

Episode 9's correct bootee prediction lifts our Survivor All-Stars prediction record to 8-0-1. In Spoiler Island fantasy game action, there's a new two-way tie for first place between Outfrontgirl and Keae

So what happens next week? Does Rob expand his "better living through fear and intimidation" strategy to include "protection" payments? Will Chapera have to send Rob a couple of fresh fish every day in order to keep the boss happy? With the merge finally just about upon them, will Rob respect Lex's loyalty... or will he turn around and whack him? And where will Amber's loyalties lie?
