Emmy-winning Succession actor Jeremy Strong and Fatal Attraction actress Lizzy Caplan have landed the lead roles in Peter Morgan's Netflix adaptation of The Boys from Brazil.

Alex Gabassi is directing the five-part thriller, which is based on Ira Levin's 1976 novel about Nazi hunters seeking justice after World War II.

It will also feature August Diehl, Daniel Bruhl and Gillian Anderson and Shira Haas.

A 1978 film version starred Gregory Peck, Laurence Olivier, Rosemary Harris, Anne Meara and James Mason.

Morgan is known for writing historical dramas such as The Crown, The Queen and Frost/Nixon.
